Hey guys due to the abundance of USELESS CRAP on the the other thread i have decided to remake the thread. Because any one interested in StreetBall isn't gonna wanna listen to men(thats right men) argue stuff not EVEN RELATEd!

here we GO:

Fellas the streetball tourney is still gonna go on but the date has been changed. Abbeys field had prior engagements on the 28th which I didnt know about. The date has now been changed to January 3rd. This is a Saturday and we hope everyone will still be able to make it.
As far as prices go we are gonna work on that this week. Should have an answer by this weekend. For sure it shouldnt be much more than what u would regularly pay at PBC or LAX. We are shooting for the $60-$70 range with the $10 added for the winnings. We will update as the info comes available.

names are put into a hat and teams are drawn people that survive each game are given points after game time is given to get air paint whatever. If you get shot you sit out 2 games and someone else is picked up. Person or people with the most points at the end of the day win

I'm going to try my best to keep the paint Price low...Lower than that......Way low.......Well maybe not that low...Lol. I'm shooting for the $40.00 range. Air will be $5.00 all day. With $10-$20 going in the pot.
This event is meant to be fun not costly!!!

Entry will prolly be around $10-$20 a player depending on how many players show up. I say $10 bucks is plenty. say 30 payers show up thats $300 in prize money. Just for example $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd. Just fro some examples as to how it will be placed out.

If you guys have any suggestions that you think will be a creative way to make things run smoother or whatever post them please

We can do it either way. If it seems like it will take forever for someone to reach the set amount of points we can cap the games to 40 and take whoever has the most points as the winners.

I say we cap at 40 games. It may get strategic. Say a player is winning by a handsome margin with 15 games to play. He may choose to get shot out on purpose just to conserve paint or maybe to get added to a different team. Never know. Also it may take some time for a player to get to a certain amount but then agian any player may have a good winning streak and the whole tourney be over in just a few games.

another idea would be to pennalize say 1 or 2 points for being eliminated, but that would be alot to keep up with unless you have a really attentive score keeper who pretty much knows everybody which is very unlikely....Unless, everybody wore numbered b-ball jerseys but we wont so this was a pretty pointless post!! it would be super to have all of that though

Well how about a piece of duct tape on your jersey with a number on it. Each player is assigned their own number. This way noone has to know your name. I believe we can do some sort of spreadsheet on Jeffs computer to where we can keep all scores.

The reffs will be some Team Abbeys players, and those that aren't playing that perticular game! EVERyone HElps reffing!

yea when u are eliminated you reff. Some of us will keep score. jeff has a new kick azz computor with some cool score keeping software so it will be easy to keep up with. There will 2 computor screens with the players scrores to keep you up to date on whoes where.

Well think about it this way. With a time limit of only about 3 minutes you are gonna have to be quick. The field will be setup for fast games. If there is a controversy over who shot who first, then there will be a 45 second 1 on 1 to get a winner. This only applies if these 2 people are the last 2 on the field.

i talked to jeff today and he said he could most likely get some cheap paint, something in the 40-45 dollar range per case.

All of this Bling Bling Mayhem will take place on .Saturday January the 3rd at Abbey’s Paintball in McComb . I will be able to give y’all the cost and everything after I get a conformation on it. We are trying to keep this on the cheep. But if you have every played an event at Abbey’s, you know that we are going to do it Right.
