Jessie's Trend Cellar in Illinois is looking for 2 teams to sponsor in the Southeast area. We are looking for 5 man teams (with 1 or 2 alternates) who are 17 or older, and have been together longer than 6 months.

We're hoping to open a store in the Southeast within the next year and wanted to find a group who we could help through the next season both financially as well as with great deals from our shop.

If you're interested, please log on to http://www.teamachilles.com and click the apply button.

Our sponsorship program includes a 5 man core team of 17 and older players -- ones who can drive and can sign their own waivers. After the core team is established, we always bring on 5 more crew members who are 13 to 18.

Also, players who are 17+ are more likely to continue playing the sport even after finding out how expensive it can be ;)

Is there any particular state in the southeast that you had in mind? Also, which tournament series were you looking for this team to participate in? There are lots of really great teams here in Louisiana and lots of tournaments to play. Could you be a little more specific?

Sure. The Louisiana / Georgia / Florida area all seems pretty consisentent to me. I'm still doing some research on what areas need a decent store the most. The reason I picked that area is that I have family down there who is interested in opening up a remote location for our shop and can run things.

As for which tournament series -- I haven't really made a huge decision yet as I'm unfamiliar with all the various ones, but I'll have some more concrete information in the next week or so.

We've received quite a few applications, so I plan to follow up after Christmas!

Sounds good, thanks for the quick reply. Our team will be playing the Warped sports series this year. We also hope to play some of the other local stuff. Maybe something over at Jena paintball. I will get over to your web site and fill out an aplication. Thanks.

Awesome :) Make sure you go to our team website, not our terribly outdated store website (which is going to be a new one as of Jan 1st).
