Hey guys. my name is Drew Kennison. I captain Triage. were a 5 man team whos going rookie next year. weve been practicing for the last few months just getting ready and we hope to have a really good rookie year next year. We all live in vancouver Wa, just 16 minutes from downtown portland.

were looking for 2-3 more players and if i get enough response I'd be willing to make a full 10 man team which we could split into two 5 man teams for tournies.

the fact is this. we dont have a sponsor and were looking to win a tourney or two to prove were worth one. We practice once a week and although I wont punish someone for not making it, I always really appreciate those who do and it helps the team.

We can usually get pretty good deals on paint and often free field fee. we are looking forward to a field that is in the process of being built very close to us which will become our home field, so were kind of waiting for them to get up and running before we declare a home field.

right now practice is often at bad mojo's field or portland indoor when its rainy outside. we try not to play indoor too much because the fact is they charge too much for paint and you have to get a membership to get a competetive price. bussiness is bussiness so im not mad at the guys there and really do enjoy it there.

at practice we all get a case of paint and everybody shares. theres no reason back players should be punished for shooting more paint than front players. they shoot more to help the team, reward em for it.

so there you have us, now what im looking for in you.

we need a couple mid players who can play front and an additional back player who may be able to play mid.

right now we run 2 front a mid and two backs and this arrangement would give us much more versatility.

your going to have to have enough money for the jersey, its 57 dollars and they're pretty tight, you wont be dissappointed. you need a pack and pods and a gun. Im not going to tell you guns don't make a difference in paintball. they do. the player makes the gun though so if you are pretty damn good and you dont have a upper end gun, don't worry about it.

on the other hand, if your dad bought you a timmy for your birthday to match the car he got you last year and you have no skill whatsoever, please don't apply. you guys understand what i mean.

ages on the team vary greatly, weve got a 28 yr old and 30 yr old. two 21 yr olds and a 17 yr old right now, so i mean we'll pretty much take anybody within reason. please no young guns though, means we'd like you to be at least 16 and able to drive a car.

other than that a good understanding of the game and a willingness to play hard and learn is all you need.

if you have any questions you can post em here (i check once a day at least) or you can drop me an e-mail @ kennison10@hotmail.com which i also check at least once a day.

thanks for your time yall.

Hey,

What series are you playing next year? I am a back, and one of the front players for our team lives in Camas. Drop me a line and give me some more info, we will be rookies for 5-man classification next year, because we played 3-man last year. Are you playing NWTS, X-ball, etc?? Is anyone sponsoring you?

Give me the info, when you get a chance.

I'm sorry, I did forget to specify. Were going to play NWTS next year, i had wanted to play the OSS as well but it looks like thats not going to happen seeing as the OSS is down and out this coming season.

I'm looking at competing in the upcoming year of NW X-ball though since the format has changed from 3 man to 5 man.

Nope, we don't have a sponsor. I wouldn't sponsor somebody who can't prove they are worth my cash and I wouldn't expect anybody else to, thats why were going to win a tourney or two and prove to the sponsors were worth their time.

then we'll see where the sponsorship trail leads to. I wouldn't mind a Bonebrake sponsorship one bit =)

Hi, im 20 years old, living in SE portland and am very much interested in hearing more about your team.

I have played paintball for the last 8 years on and off, all of it recreational and i want to get more serious about the sport this coming season. Right now i am running an evil omen and have a BBT as a back up. I'm very athletic and aggressive. I have also played on professional counter-strike (Half Life mod) teams before and have a good grasp team dynamics.

I have a steady, well paying job right now and am able to play once a week easily.

Hope to hear from you guys, thanks for your time.

Also, I will message you with all of my contact information.

what?... is this anthony or travis and what exactly were you saying?

why would someone want to play for me? well, we love paintball and were at the rookie division level and always try to advance our game.

if a person wants to be with a competition team and really wants to play he can come out with us and play with the team for a day. I dont do tryouts, i figure its easier to see how somebody fits into and plays with a group then it is to make an entire new group.

ive got 7 guys now. i want another 2-3 so i can place 2 teams in the NWPS rookie div. that means i'll need another Nov level player too.

Drew

and what about sending e-mails and what 3 letters got blotted out.... sorry i dont know much computer slang, i can barely write on paper. hehehe

i sent you an e-mail instead. i cant figure out how to Instant message someone unless i click on the little P.M. at the bottom of their posts.

i think if i did that i'd send it to travis by accident.

I KNOW IT AN OLD THREAD ARE YOU STILL LOOKING FOR PLAYERS WE HAVE PLAYED WITH YOU AT BAD MOJO'S

sorry bro, ive got a pretty full roster now. 8 guys and the only series around right now is 4 man. I really need to make sure that my guys get their time in first.

if you'd like to practice with us feel free, sometimes players may drop or get cut so you never know, we may end up picking you up.

it just depends what you want, i'd hate to ruin your rookie season by playing you for only a few tournies in the last 6 months of this year.

if your younguns, i know of a great team you could play for. I will defiantely be looking for other teams that can pick you up as well. Its always good when another tourney baller joins the ranks!

(by the way, do I know you. If you played at mojo's I should know you, right?)

Thanks for the interest!

Hey Drew,
Tell your Dad that he should have Franz sponser you guys. Ya, I know your dad real well. We work in the same industry selling food. He's a good man and he can somehow get Franzs to sponser your team. If not, I'm sure he has plenty of money himself...make sure you tell him I said so! LOL
