The epic to me looks just plain ugly.... I think it needs to be redesigned. Couldn't they redesign it to look alot better without interupting any parts??

I actually like the Looks, and as soom as I sell my 2 Omens I'm getting one. Remember that Jim just makes these gun as a side job. There not made to be pretty, there made to work and woork good. Why have extra meat of the guns to allow fansy milling? that would just make it heavier...With a 45/4500 tank and a revy, these babies are tight guns. IO can't wait till he gets the virtical feeds done, more or less the electro epic...

I dig the look of these markers, i saw that prototype vertfeed version and why did he choose to make the offset style vert feed, id rather have standard leftfeed then that. whats the deal? If I get bored of my blazer then one of these are first on my list.

Umm wouldnt milling make the gun lighter...

The actually cutting out of the metal would make it lighter... but you have to add more metal to it before you can mill, does that make sense?
Like how the back of an Angel can have a lot of milling, thats because there is a lot of extra material back there.
Theres not enough material on the body of the epics to mill it, they would have to go in and add more to it before you can take off any.
Explained it in the best way i know how to, with my little knowledge of the subject.

If you noticed that the Epic has a bolt on feeding chamber. All they did for the prototype was to make a new one. This way, all the Old epics can be upgraded with vert feeds. It's not as offest as a Omen, but it still is.
Keep in mind that Jim is considering to make a entire Vert body. He wants to do ALOt with the mech and the e-epic, but they are a small company and have to operate in small steps.
After I told Jim that a destructive viking (2004) Wieghs 2.4 lbs and the new featherlite is supposed to be 2.3, the same wight as the epic, he said, WOW, I guess I could shave some more metal off the epic....

I have been holding out on buying an Epic so I could get the E-Epic, and something just struck me, will it use a dome switch like Spyders, or a microswitch like Angels, Intimidators, and other 1000 dollar markers. I sure hope its a microswitch.
