5-man Rookie event. Any interest?

This is going to be a one time event sometime in November or December that will be scheduled around the larger Tourneys such as BD's 7-Man Tourney as to not interfere. As with any Rookie Tournament, it is 3 Tourneys or less. However, it is not a sure fire deal yet, I am testing the waters to see if the interest exists. If the interest exists (interest to me would be 6-8 teams at least) then I will talk to Mr. Mike at LA Xtreme about having a 5-man Rookie Tournament.

so go ahead and post in here if you are interested!

I will update news about this and a list of teams interested!

Hey guys, for the Rookie Teams I listed, like Push (Rookie Team) could you hook me up with a name? I dont want some people getting confused and thinking I am letting a Push team play thats like Sparky and such lol. Same thing for Venom and Abbeys plz lol. Ok I talked to Mike about it and he says if there are enough teams, go for it! So now I am gonna work out entry pricing, prizes, and a date.

As of now, Prizes will be CA$H MONEY! THATS RIGHT! CA$H MONEY! This can be an all-or-nothing Tourney where 1st takes all the Ca$h, or Ca$h 1-3rd. But the Ca$h would be significantly less.

As of now, Entry looks to be $200, if its $200, 10 teams means $1000 ca$h for first, maybe more. If its $250, prob $1,500. I gott check all the expenses first (reffs etc..)

Entry form and such will be ready once a date is set!

How will you know if the team is a rookie team? I've played at LAX when it was "suppose" to be a beginner tourny. It did not seem like it to me!

I <3 that idea. Some people are bizatchin cuz they have players with like 4 Tourney exp... but personally, I'd rather stick with 3 or less. Makes it more of a *rookie* thing.

Reffing by Poo Poo Hedz.

Prizes: Ca$h money. 100% of entry fee to go to prizes. Heres how it works, 1st place gets 2/3 of entry fee. 1/3 will be raffled off. Example: if thter are 7 teams, 1st place gets $1000, and the rest of the teams have a chance to win $500 in a raffle. All teams who attend finals except the first place team will recieve 2 chances to win. This means that EVEN THE LAST PLACE TEAM gets a shot at $500. This is just an example, the more teams, the more money!
