Yes, entry is 10 or 15, not sure excactly. I drive 2 hours to play there, there are plenty of fields about an hour away but Pevs is the best in VA. Check it out.

Thats a matter of opinion.......
Pev's has it's advantages and disadvantages just like every other field. One plus is that Pev's draws lots of players out of the DC area. They have lots of fields, but they are hard to get too. There has been many people on the boards here complaining about reffing.
Hogback has extremely nice and helpful people there. The recball fields are really great, but the tourney fields are lacking. Its another field that the fields are a bit tough to get too.
Skyline is about 1 hour away from Pev's. To me its the happy medium. Nice people, great fields for both rec ballers and tourney players. There's always plenty of players there, but it never really feels overcrowded.

Yes its a matter of opinion JD, but thats just my opinion.
What really drew me to Pevs was how walk ons were allowed to play on the speedball fields, which happen to be really nice 10-man hyperball fields. When you get 15 on 15 walk on players on those suckers it is out of control. Some of the most fun I've had playing paintball. All the other fields I had played at before you had to be having a team practice to play the field's airball/hyperball field.

Ron......Yeah man, hopefully it will be in Hopewell, I've already made hotel reservations. This whole points thing is killin me, it all boils down to who wins/places well at the final event. I can barely sleep at night. A few nights ago, us, you guys, malafactor, and Razor's edge were in the finals, but I woke up before the first game. Wherever its held, I'm excited.....
Ross......You have a good point about the speedball/hyperball thing. Does Pev's let walk ons on the airball field? I think the reason walkons aren't let on airball fields is for fear of them busting them by doing something stupid. As for the hyperball fields, I wouldn't think there would be a problem letting walkons play that.

When they have the airfield up Walkons can play the airfield. Its usually up in summer, or at least we are told so.
BTW, your sig is hilarious.

the price is $15 admission for all day play not including air or lunch. the turnout is normally pretty good on saturdays and sundays both with sunday's drawing more team players for practice if they are playing there. It's a great field and definately worth checking out and if you go this saturday maybe we'll even get some games in together

Skyline is better only 10 bux for entry and if you buy a case it is free entry.
All day nitro isn't that mush (10 bux)
Pev's did not have all day when I went
only thing is at Pev's you play 14 games to Skyline's 10 or 12 (but some of the Pev's games are only 7 min.)
Also Skyline does not make you take a break for lunch and Pev's does so you miss about two games because lunch usally lasts about an hour there.
Pev's is I guess "o.k" but I think Skyline is better

Pevs is great but IMO, for a walkon, it may be slightly fustrating when they shut down the hyperball or air field spontaneously or only allow teams to prac on them.

lol Jon. You know just as well as anyone else that there are 2 Hyperball fields and if a lot of teams are practicing up there they blow up the air field. I dont think any walk ons would get kicked off of all 3 fields when at the most the teams may be using 2 fields, usually only one.
I played walk on there for about 5-6 months before joining a Pevs team and never once got kicked off of a field.

Pevs@AG is 15 dollars all day if you have ur own gun. morning session is from 10am-1pm lunch from 1pm-2pm afternoon session is from 2pm -5pm. Sat. and Sundays Turn out on weekends is from 150-200 walkons plus people palying on hyperball and sup air. Walk-ons and private groups take priority on any of the fields over any team practice. They are also starting to open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-7 just started doing it this week and turn out wasnt bad, i played myself. there was around 70 walkons
They are 16 woods fields 2 hyperballfieds and 1 sup air field
And about the reffing staff, Things are changing for the better, People might have had complaints before. but only the best reffs work there now.
Field improvements are also being done the bridge on the compound field is allready underconstruction as of sunday the 29th of june.
Pevs@AG is open to customer feedback, if you have a problem with anything they do or there reffing staff, just let them know by telling someone atthe field or even at a pevs proshop. Problems cant be fixed if they are not known.

damn it, i missed like two weeks and i missed everything, who got cut? and how high are they building the bridge, ha it might be enough to stop the rafting when it rains
Its a swinging bridge connected to the big trees in the midle of the river by the tall tower and its going to sit about even with the bank of the river but the wires holding it are not tightened all the way but it will be done shortly. Their will also be netting on the banks of the river so that people cant just sit back in the woods and mow any nube that tries to cross.
