What is the difference in these 2 pistols? I know the RIS has a light but is that it?

Well yea and no, The R.I.S. is a system that allows you to add the ligt or the laser sight....

Yes, you pay 40 extra bucks for a super cool flashlight. Take warning though, the light does NOT use your standard AA batteries as you may expect. Rather 123 3v batteries that are rather hard to find and extremly expensive. It may be due to the fact that I got Li Ion batteries, but to get the two that it took to power the light cost about 15 bucks. And the RIS is just where the mill some groves into the gun that allows for the easy attachment of the flashlights or sights or what have you.
