Well I assembled my PGP (correctly, I assume heh) and the pump is very VERY stiff.
The first half is pretty normal, but right when the hammer starts to cock back it gets very bad. Does anyone know why this is happening?

First off, did you do anything to the main spring or add a velocity adjuster? If so, my may have too much pressure build up on the hammer.
Is it possible you installed the hammer backward?

Could be, those diagrams are pretty blurry :)
I assembled it like this:
valve part (or whatever it is) --> Hammer --> Spring --> Vel. Adjust
But when I gassed it up, it would shoot and everything. The only time I got the gun pumping somewhat normal was when I decreased the velocity as much as possible. I thought it would be extras tension on the spring too, but I can't figured out where. You can even feel a lot of tension when pulling the pump right back...

Sounds like you've got the velocity cranked too high. Until you get it over teh chrono where you can set it correctly, you're best off to leave it backed out so you don't damage the internals with too much spring compression.

That's what I thought too, but I have to pretty much undo the velocity screw all the way out, which would probably be too low to play with.
I'll see tomorrow, if it still doesn't work I'll try new springs...

i know this thred is dead .
but its the lug on the bottom of the bolt
the stock one tends to work its way out its just pressed in
if you hit it back in with some thing and I bet it works fine.
