The Compound at Jungle Island just lowered their weekend prices! It's now $25 also to play on Saturday and Sundays!!! That means FREE compressed air everyday!!!! Come take advantage of these Summer prices, dont know how long they will last

They have all of that except turf.

In fact I'd much rather play their manicured dirt than on SC's "new" turf.

Refs are very good at starting and monitoring games, and games can run as regularly as you want since there is usually more than enough field for the number of people there.

For $25 I will no doubt be going there from now on instead of SC. This is what they should have done from the beginning to get people out there to see how good the setup is.

They have good refs, regular games and the bunkers were good every time I've gone there. Turf would be nice but if it sucked I'd prob rather have the dirt.

One plus to compound was thats its never crowded...last Sunday we pumped it with 9 guys the whole day....bunkers stayed inflated and reffs were great and no crowds now on top of that 25 bucks u just cant beat that...ya maybe they don't have turf but i wouldn't doubt it if a lot more people played there that they would seriously consider it.

Giant was only created as an effort to stop players from going to the Compound i bet u anything. Plus those guys can barely take care of one paintball park, dont know how they think they can handle three.

giant is going to be 2 minutes away from my house opposed to an hour. thats only reason im gonna go there over compound...unless it completely blows dick.

i went and talked to the old lady at the OC fair grounds main office to find out if they have job applications yet. she told me the date Giant was scheduled to open was october 18th and they dont have apps yet

We just ran our TIKI paintball 3-man event there this weekend and the field that they had set up was awesome. Bunkers didn't really need re-filled at all and actually needed to be deflated more than inflated! Fields without turf are kinda retro now-a-days (who'd have thought that having turf would ever be the norm?) but it's not bad at all. However... the Compound is found in the Seventh Level of Hell. So it might be a great place to scrim when it get's cooler. (*insert*When hell freezes over joke here*insert*)

Let's keep these So Cal fields open guys... take a trip out to the Compound when you can.

I allways thought the opposite about the temps.
SCs parking lot with all that white dirt is like walking on Mars,and you have to hike your azz off for air or back to ez up.
Compound is shaded/misted and theres no walk for your gear/air.
Also suprisingly the coast is only 20mi over those hills.

I will be out there Sat with Bolo Brigade, hope to see more people there with the price decrease and big game at SC both days.

It's 10-15 mins south of the 91 off the 15 freeway and Lake Ave.
