3 Shots and Eyes Die

I just got a gen 3 quest and it works fine but after 3 shots the eyes shut off. Thus me chopping a ass load of paint. I need to know if its a setting or what I should replace the board or the eyes?

I put what I thought to be a brand new one in. I will replace it and see if thats the problem.

It's an eye malfunction. The way the WAS board works (gen 3 board) is that if the eyes are obstructed for three shots, it will automatically shut them off. It needs to detect the ball falling into the breach, and then detect the empty breach before the next ball falls in to register as a completed cycle.

Also the WAS board has a short problem where it will turn off the eyes after 3 shots even if they are not blocked. It happens when the eye covers are too tight and it causes some bare wire to ground out on the side of the encases eye.

Yeah I put a new battery and it dose not works still. Even if I use paint it shuts off after 3 shots.

Good choice. I don't think WAS is "bad," but I can't say I'm a huge fan of them.

I've never shot a good w.a.s. other than my friends Viking. I think they started going down hill.
