Ok, so I just recently bought a quest (slightly used) to back-up my Pm6 and although it worked great yesterday, I have a major problem today. I aired my marker up today and fired once and my bolt stayed forward and started leaking. Nothing to worry, I've had it before on my Dm6, most likely an o-ring broke so that the bolt can't reset. So I check the manual, and it says nothing but such an issue. I open my marker up and low and behold, this is what I get:

Yes, that's right, the bolt broke in half. It isn't a photoshop either, I have no idea what to do honestly. I bought it used so I'm not sure if FEP will help me out, and I can't afford a goldmember bolt right now. I know old goldmembers would do this, but argh, do you guys think FEP can help me out?

Did the person you buy that from light that bolt on fire or something? Back to your question, most likely yes FEP will help you out. Call them or email them about the bolt. It may cost alittle but nothing too big.

Call and talk to Dave, Shrek or Cole. They will hook you up no problem. I had that happen to my stock bolt, but I am a dry fire slut. If I wasnt at the field I was ripping on it, it does happen sadly. They will fix it without issue. Good news, Q-seven bolt stress tests by cole are insane, they have been hammered, pressed and about any other thing you can think of and no 1 seem breaks, obviously they are damaged but the tests are to weeed out a potential weak point/flaw in the bolt...none to be found

Alright, and the reason there's so much black is because the lube I use for the bolt gets really dirty fast. I'll email FEP and see what they can do for me. Thanks a lot guys!

Looks like an original goldmember bolt. One of the bad batch.

and hater sauce might be a good choice for grease...not whatever you are saying is leaving a black residue on the bolt.

not sure exactly what you're saying, but if i read it correctly, you are mplying that hater sauce will remove that black grease. hater sauce is a great lube, but whatever lube you're using with that buna oring, will always leave that black residue.
