I want to see how its size compares to a shocker an ego or a pmr.
If someone has a quest and any of those guns listed, could you please post some pics of them next to eachother?
Thankyou.

Actually...no...a PMR is 1.94 lbs and a quest is 2.3 lbs.
But its close enough so w/e I just wanted to know size.

No, the PMR's 1.94 is without reg, barrel, asa, whatever. It's not the full setup. Read the fine print, you'll see.
As far as size, I'd say it's comparable to a Shocker, but lighter, more balanced, and not top or front heavy at all. It's also got a lot better efficiency, easier maintanance, and is better stock than most fully upgraded Shockers.

shocker is a lil smaller than a quest an lil lighter but quest is better hands down and compared to the rail the rail has a plastic rear cap witch wears easily and any after market ones back out when shooting if you are used to holding a shocker or rail the quest is and will feel chunkier but it is still a great gun

ok...thank you for that info but I just want a picture or 10000000 showing the size of a quest to a shocker or pmr or Ion since the ions about the same size as a shocker.
That would be great, thanks.

They are almost the same size. Even though the Quest is a tiny bigger it feels quite a bit smaller and more comfy IMHO. Remember also the the extra 1 1/4 on the Quest length is LPR whcih you don't notice. So really the length if the Quest is only 1/2 longer. Also notice how the end of the grip frame on the Quest starts at 3 3/4 and the Shocker starts at 2 1/2 which is why the Quest feels smaller. Also notice how the Quest has a little more wear and tear on it compared to the Shocker. Looks like it gets used more.;) Here you go:

woah...I thought those weights were opposite.
So...damn...now I cant decide...Arg...So the Quest is like the exactsame thing as a shocker just lower pressure, less kick, more shots per tank, better board, etc?
P.S. doesn the quest come with a barrel KIT or just 1 barrel?

That is it in a nutshell. The Quest comes with one two piece barrel. FEP does have a barrel kit but I don't believe you can buy just that backs, but I could be wrong. You will have a little more cost with the Quest for a barrel kit vs. a couple of extra Freak inserts, but you don't have to upgrade the board and you HAVE to on the Shocker. The Nerve board is JUNK.

wow Nice! i could Really use a Scale like that.. for.. um marker weights....yea..
Need to take off maybe 1oz+ for the the Extra Weight of that Snatch pin.. not that you'll notice the differnce but yea.. haha
and a Quest isnt simply a Shocker... Its a Spoolvalve <DumpChamber.. for all you Perfectionists..:dodgy: > Design.. it has 2 peices.. Bolt and Pin.. Nothing more or Hidden.. takes what.. 5 Diff Orings the Entire Marker, thats including Reg..lpr..? and you can Pick all of them up at your Local Ace... or home depot...
This here iNfact shows.. its lighter then the Nxt.. More Eff.. Plenty Fast.. Small and well balanced...not to mention Cocker Threaded... :P
the only downside is the Lack of Upgrades..Which infact Wouldnt do very much at all.. there is No need.. its Nearly Perfect...only thing that anyone Ever wants is a new Trigger.. and ive found Ways around that :P

Wow, I think it has the nicest stock trigger of ANY marker I've ever held, played with or owned.......maybe that's just me, and the other 10 or so people that have said that same thing.

The stock trigger is AMAZING. I have shot many different markers and this is by far the best. All around great feel and very well balanced. I have a 68/45 on it and it's extremly balanced; not back heavy or front heavy. Also, the matinence for this marker is so easy. If you get this, you wont second guess yourself at all.

If someone complain about that weight difference with a full setup on they should be mugged tenfold.

i was fixing to tell this person to use the search feature since there are comparison fotos in either the foto thread or vs thread i think. but, since these fotos have so much measurement involved and are so definitive im not gonna bitch.
thumbs up to harry and dare i say an addition to the stickys. just so we dont have to deal with so many other folks asking the same stupid question. however i see that the thickness of each gun is not pictured. the quest may be longer but it is thinner than the shocker. shockers are wider than quests because of the tube design.
and as said......if that little of a weight difference is your hangup......hit the gym. weight between the "popular" markers is nowhere near what it used to be(ive been playing since the all mech (pump) days, so i know). today its all about the trigger.

They are lighter and have less kick than an Ego.

in comparison, i own a shocker and have shot/played with a quest. the quest i shot was really really nice shooting/feeling. it shot ball on ball to about the opposite 30 and was still close enough to long ball people from home to back left with a freak back and decent paint. i liked it better than my shocker. it felt bigger though, but not in the hands, but when i switched hands real fast i smacked it against my face because i am used to my shocker. the grip frame and trigger was amazing and ramping was great (i think it had a spitfire in it though) i am saving money to buy one after using that one. i just cant let go of my shocker though.
