ok before i got out of paintball i seen FEP coming out with whole new body design for the quest and i thought another gun was coming to what happened to that all???? I know someone has seen it it was milled and faded and different shap it was hot ppeople thought it was the raider quest???

thats the new 07 body for the quest (i think thats what i remember reading) and yes the raiders quest was milled like that and had the logo on the body the new gun the q-seven is different

these came out in a limited run, they were called the 07 quest. The bodies were also available in a limited supply.
300 bodies produced, 300 07 quests. Oh, and FEP still has another gun coming out soon. It's called the q seven and is almost in production. They also have another gun coming out eventually called the Kolevra

the kelevra's not a myth, it's just what they are calling the gun they have coming out after the q-seven. In the end they may change the name (ala onyx to marq), but calling it a myth is like calling the year 2010 a myth just bacause you haven't lived it yet.

300 Quset body kits sold to date, no longer in production "Sold out" the 07 Quest is on the market and in stores now, The Q-Seven will be released when it is done no sooner. The only hold up on it it's release is that FEP changing board manufactures mid stream "Thanks To W***** A** S***** and L****" this has set them back tremendously, this is and has been very frustrating for both the customer "US" and FEP, please be patient, FEP has yet to let anyone down!! As Far as the Kelevera is concerned, Far from a Myth!!!! I have seen the prototype and pix of this marker and trust me when i say this, It will set new standards within this industry. "And the name will remain the Quest Kelevera!!!!!!

The good people at Fep.. being.. Dave,Cole,Shrek and Archie. the 4 of them.. Make Every Marker that has ever left the shop...They had Dale and Rich, but RL dutys first.

4 people to Answer Phones,Answer Emails.. Make Marker.. Fix Problems.. Package Everything.. Ship everything..attend Events.. While still Doing the Busy work.. Of Dropping items off at the Anno'er... Picking things back up.. Doing PR work.. Busy work like Making Detents.. Omg thats a pain.. Setting up regs....

Trust me.. theres a TON of work that Gets done by the Very small Staff... and aside from when they get Company .. like Lu_adak,Gailon,Bronc.. the Cps team.. or myself.. thats it.. 4 people Tops... If that ...

Besides.. Good things Come to those Who wait.. just give it time...

i have to agree with what lu says cole said tho...... you even mention something your working on and all of a sudden its fact and was finished months ago. i guess its a problem with so many impatient little kids. theyre premature about everything. coughcough.

how new markers come about is lost on most of the folks here. theres the idea, then prototyping, then testing, then "beta testing", then production changes, and then MAYBE you get a marker. and thats the simplified version.

yes. the kelevera is a concept. very doable and something im sure theyre working on, but not yet(or any time soon). they are working on the q-seven for folks to have in thier hot little hands. it will be awhile before it becomes an actuality(for the kelevera) in any way shape or form.

they are being very responsible for a company by making sure they have the best marker they can have for release. instead of having a bunch of "upgrades" for thier next gun because they didnt take the time to r&d it or just have some new milling. new milling does not a new gun make. it means a longer wait for whatever they put out, but in the long run a MUCH better product.
the reason a quest doesnt have much in the way of upgrades is because they are NOT needed. THATS why there arent many available. most every other gun needs at least a few hundred dollars spent on upgrades before it meets most peoples standards. another reason its not highly hyped......... for the aftermarket, theres no money to be made.
so the quest will sit quietly being an awesome marker while everyone else tries like hell to do one better on something that can only be improved so much and STILL wont be what a quest is stock.
