looking at getting a texas storm quest. the man only wants 450 fot it. it has the w.a.s. board, and spring pin. i think its worth it, right? but my real question is alot of people i have talked to have told me that quests chop, and i have used the arguments about eyes, hopper and all the things that make you chop. but they still keep insisting. so my question is, do they?

People think quests chop because they are ignorant. If you have 2 detents, fresh batts and dont fuck with your settings your quest wont chop at all. I shot hellfire all day when I owned my quest.....never chopped.....lube every 2k or before and you will love her

^^exactly...mine only chops when my vlocity's batteries get down too low, and yes 450 is a very good price if the gun is in good working condition...shoot it first if possible

Haven't chopped in over 20 cases. Last time I chopped it was because of eyes off, but that was an accident and a long time ago :P .

i had a bad day of chops.
pouring rain(main issue) and my barrel was unthreading from the gun and at the two piece split.
but other than that no chops a few barrel breaks maybe with bad paint

The only time I've seen chopping 'problems' is when guys haven't cleaned their eyes out or their hopper batteries are running low and aren't feeding properly.
I have had no problems with any of the 3 I have owned.

I have Chopped once in about 50 cases... Reason? demo mode... Yes... Do NOT go out and play Xball with demo mode on... Results.. a 23 BPS blender...
Now.. ive had a few Barrel Breaks.. but that would result in Rainy weather.. even though we Know how to play thru that pretty easily.. thanks to it Raining Daily lol...

i have had a few barrel breaks, due to my barrel unthreading, but i fixed that now, teflon tape ftw. you shouldn't have any problems.
