Hey guy, Well quest have sparked my interested lately and I'm really thinking about tradeing for one

First off are they easy gun to take care of? By this I mean do they take alot of maintenance and do they tend to brake down alot?

Second I heard that some pro team using quest had EVERY single gun brake or would even shoot because they chopped soo much.

Also what are the deferences between gen 1,2,3??

Thanks guys!

guns are very easy to clean and take care of,

all teams at the L.A. Open had major problems with paint, the raiders problem was that the boards werent good, they have changed that now, and the LPR was too high so the chilled hellfire wasnt performing as expected.

gen1, hard to find

gen2 chip board

gen3 was board

gen4 lucky board of some sort

1. They take forever (http://youtube.com/watch?v=AOipif2reMU) to lube. (Watch that tremendously long video)

2. Bad boards/not broken in/LPR issues. All of which are fixed now. That was for Raider's team Quests.

3. This post, look down a little bit. (http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?p=29751462#post29751462)

Hopefully I helped; you're Trevor's friend, so I don't mind.

Weight should be the same, as well as maintenance. Actually, could Gen 1's be a tad lighter due to no gauge?

i disagree, the gen 2's come with the chip board and all the features of the gen 3 besides that horrid dust anno and WAS board, so personally if i were to buy another quest i would most definetly get another gen 2 over a gen 3.

why did you say that the anno was horrid? Was it actually bad, or do you just prefer gloss? And also I saw something that due to a lawsuit between smart parts and wdp you weren't supposed to make chip boards stock?

theres nothing wrong with the dust annoes... i have a dust quest... but imo i do think the gloss is prettier on the quest...

gen 1 dont have a gauge for the lpr... and take different grips (old school angel grips i believe)

both gen 1 and 2 have chip boards

as stated above the gen 3 have the was board (some people dont like the was board, some were faulty and others had bounce issues... my was worked ok but i opted for a chip board so i could run NOX)

some gen 4's have the lucky ace software, as also stated above

no matter what gen you get its basically the same gun, only small differences such as different boards, grip screw placement, and lack of a guage

the quest is an excellent marker with great effiecency and speed... easily the best stock trigger ive ever shot... and with a two piece bolt with 6 or 7 orings maitanence is a breeze

also F.E.P. has great customer service... and the 007 barrel is wonderful, my favorite barrel, and it was stock too!

As stated about 10^8 times, from gen 2 to gen 4, quests will look identical. It just comes with a different board stock, the lucky board instead of the WAS board. I have WAS and actually like it, so I feel no reason to get a lucky board.
