Team Fierce holding try outs for PSP Xball

Team Fierce is currently looking for 2 players to fill in vacencies on our Xball roster. Players can be either D3 or D2. However, there is only one D2 position open. We are in need of an aggressive snake player but, will consider versitle players that can fill in where needed. Players will be required to show up to mandetory practices as well as tournaments. Most of our practices are held at CFP in Lakeland. We plan on continuing to play D3 Xball for the rest of the 2007 season as well as CFP events. This position includes a sponsorship of which details will be discussed druing the tryouts. We will be holding try outs at CFP on Sunday May 27th. As far as the tryouts go, I believe it takes more than one day of practice to determine a players ability. Therefore, some players may be asked to come back for a second tryout. Team Fierce has built a solid reputation as a team during past few years and we plan to continue to build upon that reputation. Our Team is comprised of very dedicated players who all bring their own skills and ability to form what many consider to be one of the top teams in Florida. We all consider each other as family and treat each other that way. We are not interested in individuals. We are looking for an addition to the "Team" and "Fierce family". We mostly practice at CFP. We will be scrimming in the Tampa area as well. We have a field in the Sarasota area but, it is small for large scrims. We will be opening a new field hopefully sometime this summer which will have 2 Xball fields and a seven man field to start.

Some more information so that anyone who plans on attending the tryouts is on the same page as us. We are looking for players with tournament experiance. The average player on Fierce has at least 6 years of experiance. We don't want to offend anyone because we were "just starting out" once too but, we have put a lot of time in building this team and don't have time to train anyone from the ground up. We are looking for players with psp experiance and preferably some Xball experiance. Thanks!

We are sending out an email to thank all the participants for attending tryouts this past Sunday. We had a great turnout with an even greater base of talent. This made it very difficult to decide the players that would move on and be asked to attend a second tryout. I want to personally express my appreciation for each players interest in our team. Every player who attended demonstrated the highest level of sportsmanship and did what was asked of them without hesitation. And despite a large number of other teams running their practices at CFP this past Sunday, the tryouts went off without a hitch. This was the first time we held a formal tryout. In the past we have always happened to pick up players when needed through local connections. We appreciate the efforts of all who attended in making this run as smooth as it did. We wish all the players who attended the best of luck for the rest of the 2007 season and hope that they will consider us again if we hold tryouts in the future. I hope everyone understands the difficulty in detemining the players who will move on. There was a lot of talent out there this Sunday! Best wishes and we hope to see you guys at CFP soon!!
