Ok this is Buddy. I know 2 refs! Berger and CJ. other than that, i dont even think i have said even hello to any of them before. Berger and CJ are both VERY GOOD refs and VERY well trained. They dont care if they know you or not. I have more respect for un-bias referees. I can tell you right now that Rhythm doesnt need to pay anyone. They have practiced HARD and are going to be VERY hard to beat. They are well disciplined and have been playing together for a long time. As for my predictions.....

Rhythm over Buffalo (although Buffalo is VERY good and would smash any other team in the league)

Tonowanda over Attica...(might be a close game though)

Corning over Wellsville (Wellsville having team issues)

Tonowanda over Niagara Falls (Experience)

Sodus over Attica (this one could go either way---really hard)

As for the other 2 conferences, i really havent seen much. I know TNT has been practicing hard and i know NS Shooters have a couple of ballers that are starting to come back around. Rumor has it that Chaos is practicing a ton. I am gonna say TNT for the Central. A lot of talent, they just need to play more as a team. As far as Eastern...i have a lot of respect for Albany after the finals. They came around in 1 season so i cant imagine what they have done in the off season. I know Jesters are a pretty good team and i played them in LA (rough event for them, but cool guys) and Boston looks like they have their stuff together. So i will say Albany.

With all of the good talent in the league this season i am sure the refs are gonna double their price for me this year! :P gotta get those calls! whatever. Good luck to everyone this year. and for sanchez kid....good luck to you to! let the scoreboard settle it all.

Oh....PS...Niagara Hustle will win the MXL as well. They havent lost to any AXBL team yet this season in practice! they are lookin strong.

the reffing squad is completely different this year-and as someone said, they are nyxl refs so i think they know how to be impartial even if they knew rythm/Buddy.

I have no idea of were you get N Syracuse Shooters winning, the only people who think that are on the team.

There is no need to get in this who knew who or what not. This is a new season and with a fresh start of a new series with new refs, new teams and bunch of great ballers from all over the NE. We all need to just sack up and play ball and not get into this political BS. This is the last thing teams need is annomostity going on even before the first event. Rochester has great talent, and so does the rest of the league it's just a matter of leaving it all on the field and getting the job done.

I am not going to get into who has played on what teams and that business...just simply stating a fact that predictions are humorous b/c people have not seen half of the teams out there play let alone who is on what teams....but I guess that is why they are called predictions and are fun to mess around with. Hell, most people have no idea about the NCAA Men's tournament, but they love to fill out their brackets. As far as I am concerned, every team in this league is made up of accomplished, experienced players that all have a opportunity to win their respective divsions. ok, since there seems to be some discussion about us I figured I would shed a little light on the situation. Yes there are several players that have played at higher levels in 7 man, that play for the hartford eclipse. However, we have never played Xball and as you all know Xball is a competely different animal. I agree with many of you that I have also seen D3 Xball players destroy D1 nppl players because of the differences in the style of play. We had the opportunity to try Xball and so far have had a great time playing, but we still have a lot to learn. I hope this answers any questions and I look forward to seeing you all at the tournaments.

As far as winning the whole league and taking home the Liberty cup, I think its way to early to judge. I can predict the conferences though.



Western : I have to say Rhythm , with all the talent those Tippmann effect and Nvasion (RIP tipp-sett) guys have up there and with Buddy coaching the NVP camp they will be borderline unstoppable. Although teams like wellsville and Buffalo will be good games and could go either way.


Central : Alot of talent in this conference. Im going to have to say the top teams will be Blackout, Shooters, TNT, and Chaos. I cant predict who will come out on top but prolly one of those teams.


Eastern : Ive been hearing alot of good things about these teams , although I have seen very few of them play . Im going to say Jesters for the eastern conference. I have seen them at various PSP's and they are a good group of ballers.

Of course there's biased predictions. Most teams have never seen each other, and are a complete mystery at this point. The first event will definately help to clear that up.

Then again, think about last year @ the first event. Rochester crushed Albany to the point where they forfeited. Alot of people counted Albany completely out at that point. Who would have thought they would have came back & took 2nd place in the playoffs?
