tim1234,
there is a field in Lake View, S.C. called Ground Zero paintball, Lake View is about 15 minutes from Mullins. A new field called Adventure Beach Paintball near North Myrtle Beach will open soon. And, there's a new store in Myrtle Beach called Paintball USA with a field opening soon. GZ is your best bet right now, call and tell Cecil that Doc from Carolina Siege sent you, they're a good bunch of guys.

Ground Zero in Lake View is open now, and it's about 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours from M.B. Paintball USA's store is open now and the field will be open in a couple of weeks. Paintball USA is in M.B.
Adventure Beach PB is just north of the N.C./S.C. state line, about 45 minutes from M.B. and will open sometime this summer I am told. Hope this helps. Come out and play.

SCPFOA, ACTS, WPF, CFOA,(all of a couple of series, just a few of others) and maybe the Charleston Cup. Hope we can have a few more local tournaments between GZ, Adventure Beach PB, and Paintball USA. Maybe even a local series, if everyone can get along. Hope to see ya on the field.
What have you guys played so far? I think we've seen you around. Were you at the first SCFOA?

Yeah Paco, we were in Charleston but we couldn't make the 2nd event. What team did/do you play with? Was it SBT? I think they have a new name this season. Are you going to make the Ground Zero tournament?
Nah, me and Bones up there are with APEX right now. We played Charleston, didn't play Alamo, and as for the rest of the season things are in the air at the moment. As for SBT, I never heard of them. I've heard of SSG (from Atl. area) but that's probably a totally different team.

UP^ for being a field that can actually say they are in the Myrtle Beach Area. Can you say 5-10 minutes from Ocean Blvd.
Double Up^^ for holding a tourny that the winner team could have most,if not all, of their expenses paid for with the prize money!

But you knew that already since we wern't there. We had to miss that one we played the Charleston Cup the first weekend in may and played three of the worst games we have ever played but we had a good time(not really). We will be at Triggertyme on the 14th of June, and hope to see you guys there.

Bones.....
We'll see you guys at Triggertyme next month. I hope the reffing is better. The refs from Gz SUCKED! But what do you expect.
If you're up this way (M.B.) come check our new store/field,
Paintball USA 650-1540. See you guys later.

SBT became animosity and we won second place in the scfoa series last year behind first strike. I thought the refs at GZ were great and better than they had been all year. It seems to be the same people reffing at every tournament so you may not see a big change.

Yeah, They take a few guys from each field in the series and a few from the host field to round out the ref's. Has any one played Triggertyme lately??? I was up there a few years ago and they only had one speedball field and it was all pallets. Would like to know if any of this has changed. Checked their website and everything is under construction so maybe they made some changes.
Doc what team did you play with at the first SCFOA????

Bones0007 - Triggertyme has at least one Air Ball field and what I have been told will be setting up another Air Ball or Wall Ball field. I am in Columbia and will probably check it out the week prior to the Tourney (it won't be set up yet, but I will have a better idea whats going on).
Animosity (aka SBT) - Again congratulations on winning the Lake View leg, you guys all played good, straight up paintball and we (Clean Up Crew aka FUBAR) enjoy playing you guys. Good Luck at Alamo (CFOA) and we'll see you guys at Rock Hill

Thats funny...I figured since they were at the Paintball Central and playing Xball this year that they wouldn't attend any of these. Oh well...no team is unbeatable and we have done it before. Finals is gonna be alot of fun with them and DC. We will have to have our games on. Personally I can't wait because I love challenges and I love playin better teams. Both me and Jay who is our field captain will be out of town for the triggertyme tourney. I wish we could play to but we figured we could try the CFOA instead since it fit our schedule better. By the way we are all for the ten man thing. I am a very busy man for about the next month so we can talk about it at the spot.

Influence,
I would agree for the most part that the reffing was good but we got several call against us (Siege) by the refs from GZ. It used to be our home field and we had a parting of the ways, so one of their guys told a guy who plays on another team we know that they had it out for us and would "fix" us. We had players called out with no hits, and other team players left in with obvious hits. We don't want special treatment just equal treatment. Otherwise it was a great event. Good teams and good people. Animosity, Cleanup Crew, WarMachine, Misguided, etc. Hope to see you guys at the next event.
