Save more money and buy a Tippman 98 custom. Please do not buy that gun. Save another 80 bucks, buy a 98c, a mask, and a 20 oz. That package may seam like a good deal but buying that is like throwing 90 bucks in the street and watching it blow away.

My friend has an Icon X, and there really not that bad of a gun, comparable to low end spyders and 98c's.... I think its pretty good for the price.

Well, do you want a cooler looking gun( Icon X ), or a tough, reliable tippy custom? Ask yourself that, because the Tippmann, iand m telling you this as a former Tippmann 98 C user, it will last 2 times longer than the Icon X. Hope i helped,

yeah i have a spyder victor (the icon x is almost the same as the victor II) and a 98c. the victor is lighter weight but its a pain in that it has to be immaculately clean and lubed up to work properly (correct me if im wrong but i think the icon would be the same, since it has the same body and internals). the tippmann on the other hand... ive taken it paintballing about 12 times, in sand, dirt, water, and to clean it all i do is rinse it out, scrub with a toothbrush, and then put machine oil in it (dont even take it apart).
if you play scenario, rec, or woodsball, get the tippmann. if you want to play speedball... save your money. either way though buy a longer barrel, the stock sucks.

I think the icon is the better choice, and wild huntsman.... spyders are like the second easiest type of gun to lube. It takes less than a minute...

Look for something used. Ask friends. You'd be surprised at what you find
EDIT: On second thought... go with the dm7 (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=VFvFNEPCfCbF1AXnN94FnEkWXHYA_UMcu0k=?Pro ductID=6EjAqArbObQAAAEP%2egHybgdU) . It's a good reliable gun.

lol dm7... ok apparently if you wanta good more reliable marker but still don't want to spend as much on a 98c (which i highly recommend... great guns, last for long time)... go with the Icon E (the electric version)... this gun shot pretty well for the money and was my friend's first gun... it was good for both woods and hyperball/i guess airball he never really played but anyway it was pretty reliable and is pretty cheap and also. you can change the modes (semi, 3 burst, 6 burst, full auto, etc [no ramp])
