BayArea Filed shutdown!

Sad news. Diablo Venture Paintball field located in WalnutCreek/Concord has been shut down by the county due to a neighbor complaining. This was one of the best rec-woods ball fields around.
It makes me mad that this place has been around over 10years and now a new neighbor moves in and complains. Really upset:kaioken: The person(lady) knew that a paintball field was next door but decided to move in anyways. Than she gets the county to shut it down.

Hmmm, I'm gonna move in next to a wrecking yard thats been around for 20years. It is so loud around here that I can't sleep, i'm gonna complain and get that place shutdown.

Why are some people such *****s?

Good bye Venture Games. I enjoyed playing on your field. Maybe some day you will re-open.

yeah i know that was the firs place i ever played paintball. i say we go fight this thing......or blow up her house!!!!

its a terrible day when a feild is shut down, like action
zone in livermore, indeed it was a sloppy indoor, but thats were i first played paintball...aww memories
anyways, well have replacments soon, sunol just opened and bear creek is opening one in milpitas
and my freind is going to open one up in about 2 years or so, hes goin to college to get a business degree so he can run his own feild and crap

venture might be back after this month, well find out on the 28th of june.mike has spent a lot of time fighting to keep this field open and he has one more chance, So i guess well just wait and hopefully things will turn out for the best.

I hope Mike re-opens the field. Thats one of the best woodsball around here. I think the reason I like that field so much is because it's the first field I played at and Mike is a great guy.

Mike is a really good guy, I remember when he also ran a shop in Concord and sold my my first marker (the first in many). He took care of all his cusotmers back then and made you feel at home in his shop. Mike is a real class act it sux to see his field go
