New, faster noid.

I decided to make this one. Does anyone know of a faster noid that would work in the Quest? Mine will do no more than 25 FULL Cycles a second and I would like to up that number, simply for bragging rights and to show it off:blush:

drallion noid, but you'd need to tap your quest body of its screw pattern. or you COULD in theory make a manifold that would accept a barb setup.

Isn't the Quest noid the same as the DM4/5/c noid?

I think the ones in those are faster than 23.


I could be horribly mistaken though.


I shall test with the noid in my PM5, if I still have my Proto when I get my Quest back.

lol well.... lets see closest field to me is factory..... and its sucks..... high prices, shitty fields...... etc... people there are alright.

factory is soo shittty i can shoot threw the cieling haha, and all they have is Xtrme rage bunkers and the ground is sand........... icky nasty sand....

Stinger like 1 and half hours away is like heaven compared to factory....
but we got another field opening in Lake Geneva Planet Eclipse full size nppl and xball field MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!


i hate to even think about facory YUCK! but hey! its better then nothing.

Im trying to take a DM6 noid and put it in my quest. I have to do some milling on the frame and I also need to make a new gasket for it..... Once I get it working I will throw some pics up.

archangel, the stock board is program-capped @23bps, even if the SMC noid is faster than that.
so with stock board you won't get faster cycling with a faster noid.
adding an aftermarket board with the stock noid would get beyond 23bps(taking that the board is uncapped), with a faster noid then even faster

the dm6/7 noid is alot faster, however the bolt system has to be able to utilize that solenoid and also the dm6/7's solenoids air routing is the opposite of it's older bigger fatter brother...


I created a manifold to accept barbs for a mac solenoid..only problems have been 1.) finding a board to properly run the mac solenoid and 2.) I parted out my mac solenoid to fix my friends 07 ego.

meh thought i said this in the last thread.. it really is pointless.. in getting a new noid.. Quests have been Shown to cycle at 28bps.. Look at Syntax's.. he has stock noid etc..

23 is stated due to the Previous boards.. the chip board capped at 22 and the Was caps at 23.. of course .. you could always go with Uncappped.... and just rely on your hopper to perform.. your best bed would be an Emp b-2..

And yes .. quests use a dm4-5-c Noid.. but Q-Sevens use a dm7.. Who knows what the kelevra use's..

im just going to use my jesus powers.. *poof* ok now quests can shoot 3 miles and hit a fly. at 50 balls per millesecond. and uhhh josh isnt hawiaiian anymore and lives in the portapoty in UQ :D

Like I said, I've tested mine and when I set it above 25 it wouldnt fully cycle, so the last thread got me thinking on this subject, but he closed it before any real discussion got started.

meh when i rip a hopper and barely use 300 PSI thats enough ooo and ahhh for the ion owners.. since they use almsot a damn tank per hopper..

This is probably waaay off topic...but I must live by you if you live in 847 and play at factory. And yes factory does suck major donkey dick. It was good when it first opened, but now its just gone horribly bad, I am in the process of looking for a new feild to play as well. Meh, assume your topic quest owners...
