It sounds like the cap fell off, but I could be mistaken.

okay this has happened to alot of people and i'm truly sorry to say it is kinda your fault if u dive gun out in front of you and it hits the ground first it will break seen it happen many of time

don't take this wrong i know u could of slipped on your way into the dive or dove over a lane of balls theres so many differnt factors to add in just send it to FEP they'll hook you up

thx~1969(FEP D3)

well the lpr is ina place that's kind oh hard to hit even when diving, it's too close to the barre, how do you go hitting that on a dive on the floor?

it could've been the cap was unscrewing, the threads are not stiff and when pressurized i've moved the entire cap when trying to lower LPR pressure.

a drop of 242?, or a liitle bit of teflon?, what do you guys say in those cases?

i'd lean myself on teflon as the LPR needs maintenance every now and then

btw if the cap fell off and the piston went flying, the marker shouldn't loose air(apart from the one that was on the downstream of the LPR) as the LPR main valve would shut down completely.
