Why would you need a different feedneck? The stock one is better than some aftermarket ones.

heres what thee kid im getting it from said
Yes i have talked to them, they have the serial # on file, i made SURE of it during the NPPL in Huntington Beach. they told me that all i have to do is send it in, and they would give it a new feedneck and in the words of the guy i talked to, (basically the owner of FEP) "it wont fall off again after i'm done fixing it".
So im prolly going to trade for it anyways if anything i will find a way to geet it working good.

The stock quest feedneck does not grab a pulse very well. It pinches mostly towards the top, which puts a lot of strain on the hopper's neck. I have to put one layer of electrical tape on it for it to be solid enough, and I have reapply it every few times out since it comes off. :(

Same thing with my Halo and Egg.
Back on topic, just incase it isn't covered, there was a mod on here a while ago where a guy I think JB welded a round piece of metal in the feedneck hole, then put an ego feedneck on it. Worked very well as I recall, and looked awesome.
Thats probably a bit extreme though. FEP is a really cool company, they'll get you taken care of.

yea i guess i will have to get ahold of them over the phone cause they havent responded to my email. But the sleave thing your talking about is only if the body is stripped, i just need a feedneck and nobody makes an aftermarket quest feedneck.

i was thinking something along the lines of that but if i can get a new neck i would rather not use metal putty.

I see that a few have loose hoppers with the egg, halo, and pulse. My reloader b fits nicely, but I was thinking about trying something different like a vlocity jr.
Is anyone using one of these on a Quest? Does it fit the feedneck okay or is it loose like the eggs?

I thought you had your answer like everybody else said. Call FEP. It also seemed to serve a useful purpose for a few others to talk about the feedneck in general, and thought we could all learn from each other. Your title was Quest feednecks :)

they are staying on topic, and hence not hyjacking. They are for once following proper forum procedure...posting within a old topic of relevance, vs making a new useless thread.
 for the family and I hope FEP hooks you up

i think so too my pulse doesn't even reach the bottom of the neck so if i take a shot in the feed neck its gonna go up in the hopper. a super low profile feed neck would be my next upgrade if they were available

i had a vlocty, it was dope in my quest feedneck but it had a little back and forth movement. ever so slight though. i never lost the hopper durring a game put it that way.
