just wondering if the LPR controls how hard the bolt hits the paintball...cause i was having some issues with chopping and i found my LPR might have been 100+...so just wondering if the LPR controls the force with which the bolt hits the paintball?

yeah lower your LPR theres no reason for it to be above 80psi and idealy it should be around 60psi or less

Depending on the marker, it can sit anywhere from 60psi-100psi. Anything over 100 isn't really necessary.
The LPR controls the "force" that is applied to the bolt to move it forward and backwards. The "force" that hit the ball is the high pressure air that is released as the bolt moves forward. The bolt shouldn't actually "hit" the paintball (unless you chop or something).
The Dwell is the setting you use to adjust the forward stroke of your bolt and how fast or slow it goes. If your dwell is set to 8ms, then the high pressure air has to vent much faster, resulting in a harder "hit" on the ball. If your dwell is 14ms, then the air has more time to vent, resulting is an easier "hit" on the paintball.
With spool valves, because they use dump chambers, the dwell setting is more useful to fight off bolt stick, but if the logic is programmed right (which I am going to guess it is), then it has the effect I just talked about.
If it's being hard on paint, bump up your dwell. Start out HIGH, and then lower it until it works for you. I keep mine set from 11ms to 14ms depending on the weather, and all I get are barrel or hopper breaks from the cheap paint I get. :P

not a smart suggestion. Unless your marker has seen over 10+ cases of paint dropping the lpr to under 70 can be extremely foolish. And I have to give bronc credit the high dwell really is nice. I have barely any noticeable kick and I never chop with a 10-11 dwell and 70 lpr.
