We are a D4 team that has been around for about a year. We took some breaks, and now trying to get the team back up and running. Hopefully we'll be able to play PSP MAO and World Cup. As far as local tournaments, we are looking at the new SPCS series in Florida.

ok, so i talked to the bonusballking.com (http://www.bonusballking.com/portfolio/jersey-design.html) people. They said that they can definetely work something out for us. They do print their jerseys. And the prices are as follow:

Logo Design: $275
Jersey Design: $350 6-7 business days turnaround time
Jersey Printing: $65 per jersey no minimum, 3-4 weeks turnaround time

So were looking at $120 per jersey here if they design it and use the logo we already have.

What do you guys think?

Also, there's going to be a practice starting at noon. The only person i know that is not coming is Johnny.

I know, that's what i'm trying to tell nick... if we run drills and then put everything we learn into our game, be a scrimmage or a tournament. I'm sure the result will be a lot better.

The plaid is just straight out gay IMO. I wouldn't touch it at all. I like the yellow/black with the paws, that's nice. Hopefully the do allow coaching. if they do, maybe I could come out and help with that as well. However, the one thing that has to be done is the team needs to come up with their own names and codes for on the field.

well, we need a practice that everyone can come to, and just go thru everything! plays, support moves, and stuff like that. ways to basically move people and take control QUICK!

Ok, i have more info on the SCPS tournaments...

We are going to be playing the Rookie which is $300
1st prize - 5 PMRs
2nd prize - 5 Halos
3rd prize - 5 UL barrels
4th prize - 5 cases of paint

I'm sure will play saturday, but i'm not sure if we are going to play sunday so we MIGHT have to stay at a hotel saturday night.

Remember this is for April 14th and 15th.

So that comes up to at least $50 a person, please try to get $70 ASAP. The money that's not used will be given back, or into savings for another tournament or jerseys.

I like that last jersey design the best. Now we just have to wait for the PSP to release the MAO field layout, I think that is what the SCPS is going to use for their tourny. Since every single one of their events falls right before PSP's events, I would assume that's what they are going to do.

I just read the thing on SCPS.com, they are using the PSP layouts for their events, so we have to change the field around ASAP.

Xplex is taking down the trees on sunday, so i'll ask Mr. Walker if he wants us to take down the bunkers, that way we can wash them, and maybe water the grass and plant some seeds....

I've got an Empire loader for it already and a new dust black CP reg is coming as well. I really like the way the hyper 2 looks but the guy that I got this from stripped the bottom cap so it's trash when it needs to be serviced. I've also got a complete parts kit on it's way. You know me, always gotta be prepared. I'll also be adding a 68/45 DXS tank. Tested it already and it shoots pretty awesome. The UL frame truly brings the feel of a paintball marker to whole new level.

If other kids have a problem with it, just let them know that were preparing for a tourney and we can't risk our tactics getting out. Politely ask them to leave, If they have questions fine. Answer them to the best of your ability. Otherwise, there is an area for them by the hut.

I actually think the jersey looks sick. Maybe less of the paw prints, so that they can see what they are. Unless that is what you are going for.

Holy, shit! That's awesome and the price per jersey is awesome too. I think he's right though. i little bit less of the paw prints would be good. What do you think about an urban camo style jersey with that design? or are pretty much trying to stick with yellow?

Edit: Is it going to be a muscle shirt jersey or is it going to have sleeves? Also, you never answered my question from awhile ago; did you finally pick up that draxxus sponsorship?

Whoops.... i DO like the idea of camo. That's what i wanted to do from the start... here's mondo's last message.

Turnaround time is about 3.5 weeks. If you going for the camo look then maybe make put a ton of more paws and switch out the colors between Grey, Black and Yellow Paws. Thus giving a true unique Camo look.

david,just for shits and giggles, just put grey black and a little white. just kick out the yellow, and see how that looks. or, instead of white, put yellow, then put the underdogs name going accross the chest in big letters (same font)
and put the dog under it.
then play around with areas for xplex logo and draxxus (idk maybe?)
also, i really like the fitness stuff. like maybe pick a day to run, do sprints and such.

I love the idea's with the jersey design but I think that we should tryand switch it up with the urban camo just to see something new. And the price of the jersey's is awesome. Just hit me up when we have to pay for them. And also the nettign idea needs to get done and also so does the whole fitness day and since Nick and I play soccer we could help alot with conditioning for your legs and such like that.

Minis need about 2-3 cases to get broken in. You are going to be having major chopping issues until it gets to that point. If you have it before Friday that's alright because we can dry fire that thing until everything gets broken in, if not then I don't want it to be a liability for the tourny. I haven't really tested either of them out yet so I'm not even sure they work 100%. I'm pretty postive that the tank does because it currently has air in it but the hopper was giving me a few problems. Might have beent he crappy batteries I used though.

I plan on going to that tourney with you guys to help out as much as I can. If i do end up going to the tourney, then i have no problem letting use the stuff. The only rule I've got, is you break it, you buy it. I'm deadly serious about that. I've seen the hoppers and tanks you've used...:crash:

Ok, i know i said i was gonna do some other things to the jersey but i haven't got to it. last night i got home at 8 with a big headache so i went straight to sleep..... weird.

Friday, I guess we don't need any gear, i wanted to do drills but we can do them saturday when there are no games going on. So basically my idea was to go out there, finish up the layout, and study it as much as we can. All the angles, shots, runs, blindshots..... all the good stuff....

Saturday, I don't know if we all have enough money to play but everyone should try their best to get at least 1 case.

For the tournament, I think that we are only gonna use about 2 cases per head, let's say we get a discount through draxxus (i'm not counting 100% on the field, we'll see what happens with that) so we get hellfire for $50, that's $50 for entrance fee and $100 for 2 cases of hellfire. That's a total of $150.

I'm only asking for $70 for this weekend so i can pay the entrance fee, the rest of the money i get this weekend will go towards the tournament, jerseys, or back to your pockets....

Bernard's always been really good to us. Then again, we've helped him out from time to time in a pinch as well. Regardless, him and his wife are awesome people.

I agree with you Patrick that Nick should really be treated as a member of the team. Although, I haven't been around for awhile so I can't vouch for the way he has been treated whether it be good or bad. The only advice I can give in this situation is to Nick. Nick, if you feel that your being mistreated or your being looked upon in a manner that you don't like, speak up. When I'm around, I always encourage honesty. You can never go wrong with being honest.

Also, I know that you (nick) are just repeating what your father says. But my only problem with that is that he seems to be setting strict guidelines for us to follow as it pertains to the amount of money he gets, or doesn't get for that matter. But, there are no guidelines for us to follow other than, "bring people to the field". Not very fair if you ask me. In my opinion, there should be a quota that the team has to meet in order to get better deals.

The above quoted text is what's in place right now; correct? My point is that in order to get better deals, we should have a quota to meet. Something like: 10 entires per month (colelctively) referred by a member of the team, will get us an additional $5.00 off per case. Or something like that. You get the idea?

I don't mean any disrespect and I don't mean to come off like I'm looking for more either. I thank you and your father for the sponsorship and I'm sure everyone else appreciates it as well. It's just obvious that your willing to work out better deals, but the circumstances to get those better deals aren't clearly laid out. They are very vague and in my opinion, they need to be a little more clear.

Also, Patrick and i would be more than happy to speak with Jeff in detail about anything I've just written. We're both very professional, respectful, and courteous. We also don't take what have for granted. Give us the word...

I agree with that. But also keep in mind that it is our responsibility to keep track of who comes that we refer. Write down their info (name and cell phone number, and what day they are going to be there) This way, we can call them on that day to see if they are there and let jeff know. WE, need to keep track of our referrals. If Jeff feels the need to keep track of it as well, I'm sure he'll do so but it's in our hands to make sure we're doing it right.

To further branch off of what i wrote about the deals that the team currently gets, I'm questioning my standing in view of the team.

I'm not entirely sure whether I want to get back into the tournament scene but if i do, I would like to know what I'm in for.

When Patrick and I were offered a position on the team, we were told what would be expected of us as far as working at the field. At that time, I told Ceasar and David that I couldn't do that because unlike everyone else on the team, I have a career and a family to take care of. Taking that much time away from my family would not be worth it for me and I wouldn't join the team unless I could play without having to work at the field. Both of them said that it wouldn't be a problem.

With that being said, I also advertise for Xplex on a daily basis. I wear my Xplex shirt to the gym 4-5 days per week and I frequently get complimented about the field and asked where it is. Whether or not these people have gone to play at the field is beyond me, but the point is that I still advertise for Xplex whenever I can.

So, I guess my ultimate question is this; When and if I decide to come back and play for the team, will I be required to work 2 days per month at the field or will the original agreement be honored?

setting it up a quota per person is unrealistic, that's why my post says "collectively"; as in the whole team. 10 was just a nubmer i threw out. it can be discussed in greater detail with Jeff as to what the actual quota could be (if that's waht he decides to do).

Trying to bring as many people as we can is great even if it's over a set quota. But we MUST keep track. Because as of right now, most of the people we're bringing to the field might be being brushed off as just normal customers because it's not being accurately documented.

I agree with you Patrick that Nick should really be treated as a member of the team. Although, I haven't been around for awhile so I can't vouch for the way he has been treated whether it be good or bad. The only advice I can give in this situation is to Nick. Nick, if you feel that your being mistreated or your being looked upon in a manner that you don't like, speak up. When I'm around, I always encourage honesty. You can never go wrong with being honest.

Also, I know that you (nick) are just repeating what your father says. But my only problem with that is that he seems to be setting strict guidelines for us to follow as it pertains to the amount of money he gets, or doesn't get for that matter. But, there are no guidelines for us to follow other than, "bring people to the field". Not very fair if you ask me. In my opinion, there should be a quota that the team has to meet in order to get better deals.

I agree with that. But also keep in mind that it is our responsibility to keep track of who comes that we refer. Write down their info (name and cell phone number, and what day they are going to be there) This way, we can call them on that day to see if they are there and let jeff know. WE, need to keep track of our referrals. If Jeff feels the need to keep track of it as well, I'm sure he'll do so but it's in our hands to make sure we're doing it right.

I'm glad to hear that. However, as I've stated before; I'll say what I feel needs to be said whenever it needs to be said. I felt that it needed to be said and the fact that it rubs people the wrong way only means that I accomplished what I set out to do, and that's to get the point across and ensure it's cemented into the memory. 'Appropriate' is a term that's applied based on perception. I felt it to be appropriate at the time so I posted it. Was my perception of the topic accurate? Probably not, but I knew enough to post what I did. I didn't insult anybody directly or indirectly for that matter. My post simply contained the results from actions such as that and it wasn't meant for anyone else to appreciate except for Nick W..

Well usually when you are posting on someone, you wans to shoot right before the come out so you get them while they're out snapping (it's all about luck and what you think it's right). But yes, switching up where you are posting from will give the other guy a bigger disavantage...

Hey guys. i just wanted to let you guys know, I'm back on my nutrition and fitness plan now. I'm taking essentially the exact same approach as I previosuly did except for now, it's a lot more agressive with about twice the cardio that i used to do. My acheivable goal is 185 pounds which means I need to lose about 25 pounds. But, i made a promise to myself. The empire pants I have now are a size 34 waist, I'm currently a 36 inch waist (down from 42 inches a few months ago). My promise is that once I can fit into my new pants, I'll start playing paintball again.

Quick question though, and I'm aware that you guys probably won't have an answer right now. Also, I'm not sure who I should ask, whether it be david, ceasar, or nick W.; but anyones answer will be greatly appreciated. If i start playing for the team again, will I be required to pay entry for practices and such. i can understand if we came for walk-on play on a sunday or something, but I'm asking about practices. Because as you all know, I won't be working at the field, it takes too much time away from my family. I'm not worried about paint because Patrick and I will probably be either buying it from full throttle or buying it in bulk online.

The reason for doing a light jog the morning before or the night after is to prevent atrophy from setting in. When you approach 48 hours of non-activity, your body starts to atrophy and once you do exercise again, the lactic acid build up can actually hinder muscle performance. Not to mention the obvious cardiovascular effects.

To add to fitness in general. When I first started playing with you guys, I was very unhealthy and not very fit. i was so winded that I couldn't breath after a game. Once i started doing HIIT training and speed drills, I could go a game without breaking a sweat. Cardiovascular endurance is a big thing to focus on.

bought a black marq 6 from them, cancelled, came like 3 days before cup (ordered another one from blast and it came quicker)
returned it, and didnt get the money back into my (dads) account for like 2 months.
