You mean stiffi or sly :P

My stiffi switch kit just arrived and I havent had a chance to play with it yet however stiffi has had its name out there for a while as a reputable barrel, sly is a new company afaik. Go with what has the better rep imo

i can agree with both of the people above, but i have a SLY barrel, and i haven't had any problems. It's a sweet kit, very nice finish.

However, here are the problems that i have experienced with it:
If you don't clean off the paint (over a long period of time) the coloring with diminish, and also the barrel can loosen from the metal, which results in..well..crap. Just use some super glue, and you'll be up and running again.

But the new stiffi's do seem to have a better coating to save the paint job, but i don't know what the situation is with the glue and paint combo...but yeah, both are good. Just make sure you get a kit, and not just a single bore size. You won't regret it.

^^what he said-Stiffi has been around longer, and if you break one of their barrels they replace it for free! its also lighter and in my opinion looks much better. Haven't been able to shoot a switch kit yet but I hear nothing but good things about them..though the 2 inch sizer seems a little strange

i dont like either, too small backs, the barrels i'd reconmend are: (in order)
Redz
Freak Kit
007 Barrel Kit

with the 007 being the best and redz the worst (i'd use any of those kits any day, not saying redz is bad, as a matter of fact its really good. performs better then the freak, but i like the ease of inserts)

those too, along with the DYE UL kit but those can get pricy. basically anything with a 5" or longer control bore is good.

7 insert scepter kit with 14 or 16" fronts has been nothing but amazing. If you can afford it go with 007 kit, 7 inch control bore ad reverse threading which allows you to accurately shoot the rear without the tip in the instance that your barrel fills with mud....only loosing about 5 fps....wicked.

The only thing THESE carbon fiber barrels really offer, IMO, is weight reduction. I had a switch kit on my dynasty shocker it was damn nice, but I would never put it above the scepter.

I've used a lot of barrels and barrel kits. Right now my favorite is the Lucky Un1tec barrels; it's unfortunate that they shafted their US clientele by moving (or maybe being forced to move by a current ownership?) to Europe. I think that the whole carbon fiber thing isn't really worth it and that it's mostly hype. Don't get me wrong, they're nice barrels, but I'd rather save money and get a barrel that I can also swab. The ONLY advantage I've noticed with them is weight. If you're really set on a carbon fiber barrel though, I have used a Sly and a Stiffi barrel and they both seem excellent; I don't really think you can go wrong with either one. Deadly Wind also makes one that uses freak inserts and apparently can be swabbed. I think Grem has one if you want to ask him about it.

out of those two- stiffi

imo- freak or scepter

(i got a freak kit w/ 5 bores for 50$ so there was no way i could pass that deal)

Ok I was able to shoot my stiffi switch today for the first time and wow. Its light and with my match was accurate as hell. I chopped one ball because I forgot to turn on my pulse and in literally 2 shots it cleaned the barrel out, freakin amazing.

I don't know if i'd use it over my scepter though. I played all day with the switch kit to see what it was like, I liked it, you may not.

I also shot my friends legend for a game or two, good marker  He loved my quest :P
