Near Jacksonville, your best bet is going to be in Ludowici, GA. They have a pretty good Rookie Team I know and their X-ball field is pretty nice as well. It's pretty easy to find also about 15miles off of I-95. The website is locopaintball.com

I know it's been a minute since you posted this but I just recently moved here ( Jacksonville) and I tried all the places. The best I found is GTF. There real cheap with good fields ( woods, hyper, forts) and they do scenario too. Here's the site for the place and hope to see you out there. As you would say  GTF FTW!!!!!

I've heard that for months!

Seriously, can somebody put something together with air, nets and a nice X ball field? And MAYBE within 2 hours drive?
That's all I really want.

It only closed 2 months ago  I was told a little while back that triad would be reopened after MAO. And they did have air, nets and a nice Xball field. I don't really know where you live but if its in St. Augustine, Callahan, Mcclenny, Jacksonville, Orange Park, or Kingsland it should be fine...

Why would I care about distance-wise? Its over a 2 hour drive, and according to google-maps it isn't mostly highway lol.

All we need is 1 really good JAX FIELD!

WillyW0nka
05-05-2007, 08:24 PM
Yea...too bad there aren't any. The only good places are AROUND jacksonville. Pb bros is lame and expensive, and pb adventures looks like something a 9 yr. old built after school one day.

Why didn't you just go to first coast then? Its the next best thing within an hour from j-ville other than triad. It doesn't seem worth it to me to drive 2 hours unless PB bros and pb adventures were the only options lol :P

PB adventures has moved to Kernan blvd between mcCormick and Atlantic blvd. They have now got 2 speedball courses and quite a few acres of woodsball.all refd and changed up regularly.I have been playing out there the last month and it seems pretty tight.I will be there with 4 other fireman buddies around 1030 for some woodsball.

I've heard some bad things about the way Pbadventures treats the people that go there, I'm personally not going to be reccomending anyone to play at their fields.

Also, for anyone interested, Murder Inc is no longer a "Field Paint Only" field. You can BYOP as long as it isn't Monsterball/blue streak etc. and no Evil (or any other paint that stains). They'll let you use any other kind of decent paint that has a reasonable shell. They also still offer paint at the old prices.

Wow, you may have just earned yourself a new customer then. How are the fields? I havn't played there in years. Is there still only two fields or have you guys put in a third yet? I played at first coast today and half the fields were gone :(, and the only nice one is for raider guys only. The people there were really nice though. What would be the total price of a day of play, $60? And what kind of paint is it at $45?

I know it is not a popular place because of past conflicts and funny vibes but I have been playing at Paintball adventures on Kernan blvd in Jax and have been having a pretty good time.We played last week for about 5 hours in the woods on 3 different fields, and had a damn good time. They have some new premium paint called"nan hai" that is sweet.Over all I am new to the Jax paintball scene(7 months now) so I am learning as I go.This field is only about 5 minutes from me and the rest of my team mates homes so it is just too close and esy to access.

I'm currently in the "I'll give them the benefit of a doubt" stage about them. I've heard many bad things about the attitude of their field/owner but I've yet to experience it first hand. However, I will not reccomend their field to anyone, simply because I don't want to reccomend to someone a field where they will get treated poorly. I was on the verge of going to the field and checking out the new location, but then another horrible review popped up and I decided not to. Now however I see they're doing some 3-man tournaments, which will be a good way to gauge the field. If they put on a good event (which I think they would) I will give it the props it deserves. Until then, I'll be playing at first coast or MI.

I checked out the Paintball Adventures place on kernan blvd on sunday, and I was suprised how small it kinda was. They only had a 3 man field filled up but there were only about 10-15 players there. The owner did seem like an a-hole because I heard him say something to his ref about moving games faster to make more money, which is understandable because its a business, but you shouldnt do it with possible customers nearby. It looked good, but the turn-out was small.
