Just like the title says,
What improvements/fixes would you like to see incorporated into the next iteration of the quest series. What changes do you think need to happen to improve one the current platforms?
(Please be realistic...)

Hm well, they could add Auto-aim, self-cleaning internals, and make the whole thing out of titanium so it never gets scratches or gets worn down.
Yee, but realistically speaking, move the hose position to the bottom which would eliminate the need for a new reg, for most people, and maybe a .689-.691 007 barrel rather than a .696.

That has already been addressed. And it will be on the bottom for the Q-seven.
Only issue I have is horrid harnesses, which have also been fixed.

The guy I got my Quest from just got my stock barrel/bolt/coffin case to me today and I checked the 007 and I'm pretty sure it says .689.

ya, better wire harnesses (stronger, less complex) different placement and type of power button, more precise gauge, thats it
shows how close to perfect the quest really is

This must mean it's an older version quest which had the .689 bore's.

First thing that comes to mind would be some sort of limit switch/self balancing valve/actuator that adjusts the pressure on its own needing no gauge. That would be nice.

hmm lazer eyes stock, better battery life, better efficiency (i understand the kelevera will be addressing this  ), and making the guns alot softer on paint. I can put paint that pops when you drop it from waist-high into my dm3 and rip on it with no problems, not even barrel breaks! i cant say the same about my quest. wish i could.

i find lcd boards much better because the fact that you can deffinetly without a doubt know exactly what your settings are. Also many boards that are lcd show you your bps. If you are doing tournaments knowing if ur gun has a slight amount of bounce is very helpfull and i personaly hate flippen toggles and blinking lights to set up my gun. BTW timmy boards are junk and i do not respect bob longs buissness practices and yes i have talked to him befor. He playes with his team on occasion out at enemey paintball where i practice with my team.

Idk then, Here is 2 fine points.. yours, and mine..
I personally Feel an LCD board is a Waste.. once i get my marker going i have NO reason to change any settings..i dont Need a Game timer... i dont need to Know my BPS.. or any of that .. thats all in my Hand.. id rather keep an Eye on the game then check to see if im Really shootin 15bps or not..
Although a LCD board would be Better for me, Since im Partially color blind, it really doesnt Help. I know when my gun is bouncing, and i already know i can cap it off at 15bps and it Wont shoot any faster with or Without Bounce. Besides you only have to Deal with Toggle/switchs and colors one time for setting up.. the Rest is when your shooting and you Rearely notice them to begin with..
Hell Ive got a Frenzy in my gz.. The settings have been the same since i got it. never a reason to change anything.. it stays semi, and shoots just fine..infact i need to change the battery more then with my Quest..

I'd definitively say a 0-100 LPR gauge and an 0-300 HPR gauge
other than that, nothing else comes to mind

^^QFT^^ LCD boards just waste batteries and they add another part to break onto the gun (and if they break you won't know your settings at all!), the multi colored LED in the current quest boards works just fine for me...just pick your settings and leave them instead of tinkering constantly

and this comeing from the crowd always asking for everyones settings and the concistant gun changes u have to make as a quest breaks in and also i know yeah that some folks dont even bother looking at a lcd screen...and if you have to play in nppl mode bounce can cost you 1st place and a lcd helps eliminate that by seeing if you actualy are bounceing since no person has access to the gizmo refs use to check for it. as for it breaking if FEP uses a quality board and screen what are the chances of that but i dunno u guys seem hell bent on led's a quality lcd board is why i bought a ego over any other gun and i own a quest on the quality of how it shoots. and the best thing about lcd....if u lose a paper back manual and didnt bother to memorise the 25 different blinking lights well gee wiz son u sure outa luck if u left your gun on ramping and ur at a tourny

if you cant remember 3 differnet lights (the ones that matter) how do you even play paintball? i mean come on stop being lazy and get with the program...how come you think no one makes a upgrade LCD board for guns anymore?

After reading the above, it seems the Quest is near perfect. Any flaws, which were minor have been fixed on the new model. The only one that needs to be adressed is making it softer on paint. It is sad but true that one of the best guns out there has this problem. It is the only thing IMHO that is keeping the Quest from being the best marker on the planet. Please make it softer on paint!
