I am able to use Hatersauce on my quest right? I am jsut wondering because the manual says to use dow 55 on it, and I was always under the impression that dow 55 cause orings to swell.

I have the largest container, and I think they may have gone down in price. Idk how big it is, lol. I know it's a ton though.

I think you guys are confusing the price (16.50) with the number of ounces in the jar...

Maybe. The biggest size is 2oz though, right?

I love hater on all my guns. Makes em all smooth. Just lube alittle more often to keep the gun running nice.

I use sleek, dow33, might not be the most "ideal" or trendy lube but it works and my Quest never performs anything less than perfect

because that manual was produced a long time ago. I am sure the next manual will say hater, they even come with hater now, Im sure they just had an abundance of manuals to still used.

it says to use DOW 55 because as you said it swells the o rings. my tech tells me that its the same with 2k5 and older timmies-they did it so the tolerances don't have to be as tight and when the orings swell they fit perfectly and cover up imperfections in the internals...I imagine that FEP did it for the same reason

not a "bad" thing in other words as long as the gun works perfectly-which the Quest does...
