Hey guys, After about a month of waiting, I called up FEP again for a new battery harness. Called em friday, got it today . I do happen to have one problem, the harness fits quite well into the board...but, the harness for the solenoid doesnt wanna fit with the solenoid for some reason...
are the noid connectors different from gen to gen? or am I just retarded and not putting it in right?

thanks
-Alex

Pretty sure they are all the same From Gen to gen.. maybe a Connector is bent.. just double check.

ok, ill look again. I really hope it works :(
oh, i gotta post pics of the trigger i made today :D

looking again, it seems that the white notch on the battery harness doesn't line up with the solenoid connector...

One of the wires at the base of the connector on the solenoid side on my Quest broke, so I ended up just cutting off both connectors (battery and solenoid) and soldered the wires together, then coated them in some hot glue for reinforcement. It looks pretty ghetto, but it works. I'd take a picture, but I don't own a digital camera.

might want to heat shrink those wires instead of glue

Nah, trust me, the hot glue is much more supportive than heat shrink. Although heat shrink looks cleaner.

heat strink with glue ontop..that way you dont risk it.

eh
the red wire broke off the connector (going into the gun) and the battery clip got smushed in the mail
im just gonna buy a new one off a guy here. He sells ones in NIB if anyone wants to know (his dont come from FEP, he has a company make them for him)

I had the same problem... You probably have an older noid (thats what shrek told me). I sent in the new one I got and cole fixed me up with one of the older versions.

a new harness? the guy on here, i dunno if he has the old or new plug. it looks similar, i just dont want to pay $15 and get something that is wrong.
when i call FEP what exactly do I ask for?
