It's a measurement of the physical volume a tank can hold.

45-68ci should be a good size.

higher number=more air capacity, but larger tank

That last thread asking that got deleted or something, this is in the wrong forum but

68/4500 = 68 Cubic Inches with 4500 Pounds per Square Inch

The higher both numbers the more air you get.

(I don't know about 68/3000 vs 45/4500 so don't ask :P)

It's all matter of what position you play. You play front or mid you will probably want to go with a 45/45, back definitly a 72/45 aka peanut. Alot of it is personal preference to, i play with a guy that plays up front alot and he uses a 91/45! Of course this involves one of the biggest, ugly drops you've ever seen. As for the difference between a 45 and a 3000 shot wise i think its like a couple hundred shots max, but don't quote me. Draxxus makes a very nice 68/45 that is very small. You be the judge:evilgrin:

I find that it depends on how easy your access to a fill station is. Most fields have it right there and it's really easy to fill between games, but I have been to a field that actually had to cart off air tanks, fill them, then brought them back to the field, which was a bit of a hassle.

If you play in the woods at all, a fill station is probably going to be some distance away, so again, you'll probably want a bigger and higher pressure tank.

Finally, if you plan on getting into the tournament scene, sometimes there are big lines to get fills and sometimes the fill stations malfunction so it can be tough to get a good fill between matches.

Personally, I think 68/4500 holds plenty of air and isn't too big or bulky. I also end up playing back a lot (since it seems a lot of people don't know how to do it properly i.e. knowing what lanes to watch, calling out positions, actually communicating with your front players to get them to key bunkers).
