dude you are me...

I own a GZ timmy.. and Play Back.. I can tell you NOW, my Gz is the BEST timmy i have Ever shot/owned.. it gets me Plenty of paint at good eff..and i also picked up a quest...

My quest.. is the Better marker of the two.. i swear it makes timmy Maintain to Much.. not to mention weight/size difference...

and once you Break it in.. expect hopper and 9 pods from your 68/3000.. Maybe more...

Enjoy, and welcome to the fam..

JUST got my Quest today and I'm extremely happy with it, chances are you'll be getting the better half of the deal.

I've read that the Quest is extremely easy to maintain, I have yet to experience this since I just got mine today.

maintain is EXTREMELY easy as long as you have the snatch pin. the only thing with the quest is breaking it in. as soon as it is broken in you will fall in love with it.just like i did.i dont really play much back i usually hit snake right off of break, but once you get into snake with your quest you will shoot kids out no doubt. it is probably my favorite gun to date after trading an 06 speed for it, i got some cash also. but yeah, youll enjoy it IMO

Your an ignorant fool. How much was the quest when it was released? How much was the PM6??? G7??? Dm6???

I will fille the void
895 new for the quest at release
999 new for pm6 WITHOUT THE FUCKING UL frame
*** for the G7
Dm6 was insane expensive I have seen them as low as 550 now

****Sorry to dodge the topic but his post enraged me for the last time, I have spoke to him personally on this issue and he is still ignorant as hell.

but back on topic......... i own a ripper 1 and a quest, both shoot well, i do choose my timmy over the quest though, my ripper is abit smoother, and more consistent. as for efficiency i can get about 9 pods or tad bit more. quest is also good on air 1500 and it is a pretty solid marker, definitely lacks on the looks though. Trigger on both feel the same. weight on a ripper 2 is like 2.088 and quest is 2.57 not much to actually tell the difference.

I find it interesting that your timmy is smoother than your quest drew...most of my team shoot ego's, and when they shoot my quest they think it is broken due to how much smoother it is. I know a timmy is not an ego, but they are pretty darn similar. Not calling you out, I just find it odd.

As to the original post, your efficiency will be about the same. A well tuned timmy will get better mileage, but not by much. Quest maintenance while more frequent is easier in my opinion. The quest shoots very different than the timmy, if you like spools and how they shoot, you will like your quest.

I used to own a Lasoya Timmy. I was happy with it but the Quest just feels more comfortable to hold and shoot. The Quest might not have the resale of the Ego but I don't really care. The Ego is just the gotta have it so I can be agg gat of this year. Like how everybody had to have a Timmy two years ago. I like to be a little different and not so trendy so I got a Quest.

Honestly, if that timmy doesn't shoot better than a stock or almost stock Quest there's something wrong lol But that's why Quests are better for the money than any other gun out there...oh wait..they are the best gun out there! :)

ooo and i thought the new and improved "07" quest operated like a ego.... and timmy's operate almost exactly the same.... i find it weird FEP wants to release a marker that doesnt perform as smooth as the 04-06 quest..... what were they thinking... :dodgy: .

same. used to have a lasoya and im very happy with my quest now. and i agree, the resale of the quest is low because when you go to a field with it people around you arent always going to be saying OMG BRO THATS A QUEST? as they are currently doing with the 07 egos and the dm's. but as soon as u pop them in the face they know that the quest is shooting just as good as anything around.
