alrighty, i got a quest and its a generation 1 so i dont have an LPR gauge so i dont know what pressure its running at

i was just wondering the ball park of how many turns in is good. i know every gun is different so there is no way of knowing the exact pressure i just want to know the maximum i should do it without a risk of blowing my noid

also i forget what its called but is it worth getting a new thingy that has an LPR gauge so i know the pressure?'

and what dwell about is your gun working at?

also my gun is REALLLLLLLY loud, is that normal
yes i was shooting paint and not just dryfireing

for the Lpr Make sure its Flush..then one full turn in and it should be just about 85-95 psi... Leave it there and only adjust thru the Hpr..

My Dwell is currently at 11 MS..

Yes the Quest is Loud .. sometimes loud with paint Hella loud without.. just make sure your Paint to Bore is correct it will cut out loudness.. also you could try a new barrel if sound is really a concern...

My Quest is very quiet (with paint, still kinda loud without), and this is coming from someone who also shoots a Matrix (Which so far take the crown in my experience as being the most quiet markers). I have found that the barrel makes can make a HUGE difference. It's loud as hell when I've used Evil Pipe on it, but right now I have a Lucky Un1tec on it and it's uber quiet. Oh, and I have my Lpr at 80 psi; not sure what my HPR is at, but it's shooting about 280 fps.

yeah, when i shot it the other day i used the stock barrel but i guess ill use my deadly wind from now on. that really made my dm4 a lot less loud and it wasnt even that loud to begin with

Does it have a plug for a gauge? if so I suggest getting one. Otherwise turn it all the way down (marker wont fire) and then slowly turn it up until it does not have any fsdo. then do another quarter turn and your solid.

This is how I set my Matrix LPR since it had no gauge. I've found that just following how many turns someone else has their screw in is not always that reliable. Maybe you could see if someone would just sell you their HPR asa (or maybe someone would rather have one without a gauge so you could trade). Then again, I'm not sure if they're attached the same way.
