how did i take away the Epi? i still have the ball bearing trigger w/ the Epi breacher. all did was to buy new frame to lighten it up. iwanted to be diffrent. hey go ahead and clown on me aleast i got a fully up gun that i can be happy about and be diffrent

I don't think it looks bad at all. The ANS body and trigger frame look a lot better in person. And the 90* frame is awesome for playing a bunker tight IMO.

what is up with the hate??? i don't like it either (i am more of a two tone person not 3+) but damn you guys are out of line. personally if it still has the epi board and some form of a firing can with inserts to increase pressure then it is an epi, and nothing you guys say will change that.

That definitely doesn't look shopped, I don't see how you could've gotten the patterns of the couch to look so perfect in some spots where you would've had to cover some stuff up, if it is shopped, you spent a whole lot of time putting in all the stock epiphany insides. I can see the red firing chamber, the dust breech, and the black/dust freak jr. So unless you can show me some other picture that must be shopped, and doesn't look it, I think that's real. And if it is, you wasted a WHOLE lot buying an epiphany and then throwing out all the things that make it unique from the ion. The only reason anyone can tell it was from an epiphany and not an ion is from the barrel and the barrel cover, everything else you might as well have gotten from an ion.

Nah I'm not saying you put the whole couch in, but if you needed to cover up a bit of the original body, you could've copied a piece of the couch and pasted it elsewhere.

i didn't do any custom work. i just put it on and adjust the hammer to hit the micro switch thats it. the reason i did this is the Epi trigger magnet is stronger then the ANS one.

Hahaha dude, thats what you're SUPOSED to do with an ion, that's what it's made for. But I wouldn't want to do this to and epi, the point of getting one instead of an ion is because of all the stuff it comes on it so you DON'T have to get after market stuff.

OH I understand that. My ION is all full of upps. However, changing 90% of anything is not being upgraded. It is re building. SO with the EP why would you change it all out? Just like you said. It is supposed to be that way for a reason.

A Saleen Mustang is still a Mustang. It just has better " PARTS" on it.

yes the Epi tigger fit on a Ion frame well at least mines did. i put the Epi trigger on my ANS Frame

Screw these losers that don't appreciate the fun of customizing your own gun, and who think the epiphany is perfect stock. Hell I remember when I put 700 into my bob long millenium many years ago because i liked my gun but i wanted it to work the way i liked and how much fun it was.

And guys about the epiphany... its still an ion, its less rubbery this time but it still doesn't make me hard.

When you go to a paintball field and u talk to somebody with a real gun, a classic gun or a custom gun and they ask you what you are firing I assume this is what will happen:

"It's an epiphany"

"Like an Ion?"

"Hellz no you newbz! Its Gotz millings!"

"Whats with the barrel? It doesn't match the "millings"."

my stock NXT shoots better than any Epi I've shot. Not to dis Epi's though, they are really nice guns. In this sport, you tend to get what you pay for.

Well, you would pay $200 for an ion, then like $75 for barrel, another $30 for the asa, another 40 for the trigger, then this and that, so really it would cost the same, and some like the way the epi looks better. Oh yeah, and inserts....

Ok, you can make an ion shoot just as fast, just as accurate, be pretty much just as efficient, etc. Therefore, it comes down to personal preference. You might like how a shocker feels better than an ion, or vice versa.

Also, then what makes a $400 gun an upped ion, but a $600 gun isn't? Yeah, the firing methods are different, but if you like one more than the other, then why can't you use that?
