Just before I left they built and finished a field in Trenton (I think that's the place) on the way from Bangor to Bar Harbor. Has anyone played there. It looked like there was a lot of hyperball bunkers for how small the field was, just wondering?

I played in trenton. Its a very nice field. But the ground is gravel. Ouch! The field is nice but the service is not. Very unorginized and no refs. Well, a guy stands in a little shielded area and watches but thats it...

I'm from the mid-coast area (camden) but i'm in VT (burlington area) doing the college thing, but I'm in Maine during the summers. I'm not a full time player, but I've played some forest CTF games up in Canada and speedball over in Oxford. Got no gear but if I can find people to play with regurlarly then I'm planning on getting some (been trying to get into the game for a while now, but wasn't able to find people)!

THis IS PBN after all..... we get all the rejects from PBC.

I've been playing in Maine since 1987. Back in paintballs "Golden Age". Most of those great fields died out between 92-94.

Then there was the dark-age in Maine from 94-98. Pretty much no paintball at all in the State. I used to drive 2 hours to play/work at Adventure Games of Weare (NH).

Since 1998, paintball has made a huge comback with Rogue and the MRPL. Suddenly, there is alot of great fields in Southern Maine. So paintball in Maine definetly does not "suck".

Well, maybe it did from 94-98. Though we did have active pro-teams from Maine.. Just not many fields.

Wild Geese? Grave Diggers? Gang Green? Jokers?

They are all stagnating.
Maine actually has teams that have won tournaments at the national level.
Plus, Maine currently has the best league system in the country. Its currently used as a model that others are following.

OH, we are hicks though. Can't disagree with that, but it makes us seem more amazing since we actually have high-level teams.

You may have placed at Skyball, but that doesn't mean that all of your ****ing teams are better than NH's. Almost all of your paintball teams suck. At every field there is a decent team.
