F4 Body?????

Hey,
I have a kind of Goldish body for my F4 and I really don't want that kind of a color. I want a black one so I went to the aci site and to get a black one they're $80. Is there a place that sells them for cheaper....or....posibly is there someone that might trade me a black or green body for my goldish one??? I've heard that the goldish ones are kind of rare and they stopped making them. Thanks.

The "gold-ish" is actually a copper color and was an unusual batch of the grey color anno bodies. It is rare, and IMHO a keen color. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't spend $80 on a new body for a F4...what I suggest if you can't find anyone to trade then just save a bit more and get a new F4...

Or you could get it professionally anodized. K&P does it but I havn't heard much from him lately. Maybe local pb stores could do it. Look around.

K&P only powder coats. Ken can do a LOT with powdercoating, though. For annodizing, you may want to look at local machine shops for help...or turn to a professional airsmith.

Annodizing is a chemical alteration to the aluminum. Powder coating is like painting, except that it is baked on, and is a thicker finish than anno.

If I'm correct I beleive Powdercoating is cheaper then anno. If you just what to get a new paint job then you may want to check out White Wolf and SiN.

hey the gold is a rare color, they didn't make very many of them that way. your actauly kinda lucky, i'd keep it the same color
