I have an icon-e but ever since i've gotten it my velocity has never gone past 240fps. So should I go with the spring kit, the shim kit or both?? im also thinking of changing my battery which is only feeding my gun 8.6volts or some nonsense like that lol i donno...any suggestions would be great:)

suggestion. get a new gun.

now that thats out of the way

get everything you said. low velocity is usually the result of a lack of air or weak springs. the shim will help too. check out action village

Lol, that's strange, I always had problems with high velocity(weak spring, hard valve spring).
But yeah, seriously consider getting a new gun, if you can't, the get a spyder spring kit and replace the battery.

Consider getting a new gun?? lol hello no this gun gets me insane kills on the field...im gonna get both shim and spring kit. from what i've read E's usually have low velocity because of the stock spring. but thanks ya'll

I've been lucky with this gun I guess. I've not really done any upgrades to it. The only thing being a smart parts progressive barrel, and the last time I chrono'd it I was between 275-280 per shot which is about the limit for my field. I could have gotten a bit faster out of it if I wanted to on the crappy co2 tanks I have. I do lube my gun up after every single time I fire it. Thats the only thing I do.

I had this problem too, spring and shim, and later get a new gun.
