3 man series in NC [Archive]

Just wanted to let everyone know about the 3 man series at gotcha paintball in central NC. It's just outside of Raleigh. www.gotchapaintball.com It starts this sunday, March 16. They've got all the info up on their page.

I was going to take my team to the BRUTS series, but after the miserable turn out they had at their 5 man, we decided not to go. They had so few teams that the 1st place, assuming they each took 2 cases of 50 dollar paint, didn't even break even. Each man lost a couple bucks. That's sad when 1st placec doesn't even win enough to cover what they paid.

My team plays because we like tourneys, if it costs more money then we get back then we lose money, we still play.

I agree with you, it's just that if I have a choice between a tournament with 11 teams, and another one which will probably have a better turn out, I'm going to take the other one. I wasn't saying the only reason to play a tournament is to win money. I was just using that as an example for how small the turn out was.

Whats the name of ur team smurf? My team is the FreeBallerz, we have been playing in the 3 man part of BRUTS. Chances are we may have met on the feild before. I guess ill cya the next 3-man?

I have a 5 man team out of Fort Mill, South Carolina. Can anyone give me some info on that 3 man tourny.

Gotcha has a 3 man tourny every month from March to July. I think it is based on points so if you start now you will be behind. There are five events in all and the prizes are suppose to be pretty good. Im not positive on all this info so go to www.gotchapaintball.com for more info.
