Well I just got a new quest, i love it. The Board however, is being a pain in the ass. It doesnt read shots correctly, and if I'm corrrect in reading the manual/interpreting LED colors, it is burning the living shit out of my batteries.

I heard this is a common problem. The rest of the internals/lpr/bolt seem 100% fine. So do you guys think that it is soley a board problem and replacing the board with a different one would remedy the problem?

thanks alot

was is junk, and I would personally dump it if I were you. you may have one of the boards that needs to be reflashed, as there was a bug in the code, contact fep to see if this is the case. It was supposed to have been corrected on all the new guns, but you never know.

I know it sucks to get a new marker and have issues like this, but trust me it's just the board. The quest itself is the best all around gun I have owned. As for a different board, I personally have been pretty happy with the lucky board, tough to beat for the price.

yea WAS is shit and you got one of the original boards that drains batteries like a bitch. You can either go with a reflashing of the board, or get a lucky or virtue board depending on your money situation.
