Hey i don't know if anybody has posted this before but i figure i'll post up.
So i Love my quest, have since i first got it, but i've recently been having some issues getting the LPR and the HPR to work with each other. I relubed both regs and it still gives me problems.
When i air it up, the lpr sets itself to normal about 75-90, and when i shoot over the crono it shoots about 200 fps. So i turn the HPR up and i get one ball out at about 270ish and when i start shooting more, the lpr drops down to zero. and i load like 9 balls into my barrel. so I then adjust my LPR inward thinking that it was sticky, and that caused it leak but it shot. It shot about 4 or 5 balls then spiked up to 150+. turning the LPR and the HPR down at this point, it shoots one ball at about 270fps and then loads about 9 into the barrel.
So, has anybody else ran into a similar problem with their quest? Could my LPR just be F'ed up? Any help would be great.
Thanks Guys

Ok try this.
Possible Problems..
Check Bolt/pin Orings. if theres EVER a problem chances are its one of these suckers. Checkem, Replace them, and Relube.
Take out your Lpr Spring, If you can Squeeze it , its Faulty, Call FEP and get a new one.
Your Tank, How much Air? Is it a Good Reg?
Macro.. IT may sound silly but ive had it happen that i pinched them shut on accidnet..
The Easiest way to get them to both work, is to Set lpr at 100 . Leave that and Dont touch it . Then Adust it by the HPR.
Good luck :P

I had the same problem, turned out to be the FEP reg. I dropped a CP on it and that fixed everything.

I've seen 2 Quest regs not doing so hot on the Quest, and then I've seen 2 perfectly fine Quest regs. I'm not a fan of the CP but it gets the job done.

I have a similiar problem that hopefully someone can help me with.
Ok so i traded for a quest, went to chrono it today and it would not go above 220,mostly would shoot about 205..I set the LPR at 100 and adjusted the HPR from there..and no luck, I had a cp reg on there so i put the stock one on and same thing, took that off and put a HyperII that i know works on there and same thing..so i reset the board, same thing, adjusted the dwell same thing..Oh and before i did all of that i changed the battery..so anyone know wtf it could be..I'm going to tear it down check all o-rings,lube the regs, and check the LPR spring..
What is the reccomended dwell for the quest? I shoot matrices so i was kinda cross referencing ....
Any Ideas?

I run all of my trixs at 16 or 17. My quest at 8 or 9.

ooh...ye..see when i checked the dwell it was at 2, but the Nox Manuel (it has nox) said the lowest the dwell would go is 5..soo that didn't make since to me..made me think dwell wasn't blue (like manuel said) but i put it on 18 like my matrix..didn't have owners manuel or anything at the field so i figured i would try whatever to get it to work...but either way i don't see why too high of dwell would keep it from shooting over 220..if anything wouldn't it cause it to shoot higher?

set lpr to 100 then adjust HPR to desired FPS?
once thats set can we lower the lpr? cause higher lpr means more kick.

Yes you can, I sugguest keepin it at 100 for a Few cases, and then bump to 90, few more Case then to 80..
Just stop at 80, going any lower will Cause unessary problems.. Infact, Mine is at 85 so i Never worry about Bolt stick,FSDO or any Lpr Related problems.
all considering your quest is Brand New... If its used feel free to stay in the range of 80-100 , just Dont set it over 100Psi...its a complete waste
