Quest= battery hog??

ive heard that the was board is a huge battery draining board..... is the board drainging becuase the leds are always blinking or because the was just sucks?

main question: how long will a 9volt last you? I play once every weekend

there was a defect in the orginal WAS board which should be fixed in your gun since they started fixing the problems in like March-April. I used mine and for about a total of 12 hours or so and still havent changed my battery yet

I run 2 guns with WAS boards, and neither have a problem with battery drain. One is a dust, and the other a gloss, so older and newer WAS seem ok.

If your Sure Its a Battery Hog, Call up FEP and get a Replacement, or Buy a new board.

my quest is a hog 2, i used it in a practice(about 2-3 and a case and a half of reballs) and i already need a new battery. the battery was new

I don't know, I'm not changing batteries for 10+ cases of paint on either gun, and I change them here for prevention, not b/c of a problem.

Alot of battery issues (and I'm not pointing my finger at anyone here) stem from poor battery choices. A guy I play with continues to buy batteries at the dollar store and is amazed when it craps out on him. Others on my team have had similiar issues picking up batteries at a convience store where the batteries have sat for who knows how long. You do get what you pay for in a battery- buy from a place that turns batteries quickly like a home repair center or major chain store. In addition to that I've had great experiences with lithium batteries (and great experiences with lithium for myself) for paintball.

As always- change your batteries the week before a tournament regardless of when you've just put a battery in.
