Icon L.E.D just clicks when HPA is connected

it just clicks and I'm not sure if I should change from the battery it came with because its a 9.6V or if a 9V would work fine.

first, did u pull the bolt backwards so its in place?

the bolt rests on something called a sear. when the sear is triggered, the hammer is thrusted forward via a spring hitting a little knob type thing (and more stuff happens but in turn -->) and the gun fires. If you hear the sear clicking then either one of a few things is going on
1) battery is low
2) you didnt pull the bolt back.....
3 more likely) the hammer has too much pressure from teh spring and will not fire


if all else fails try turning down the velocity

How can i lessen the pressure from the spring?

turn the knob at the back or buy springs with less tension
