Paintball Central and PBC Sports Park are pleased to announce the 2007 PBC 3-Man Series. PBC expects record numbers of 3-Man Teams throughout the 2007 Season.

PBC Sports Park will host three (3) separate PBC 3-Man Events on each event date. These events will be held at PBC Sports Park Greensboro, PBC Sports Park Charlotte, and PBC Sports Park Greenville. Once a Team picks a Series Location, that Team must play the remaining events at that Park in order to receive the seed points.

The PBC 3-Man Series is FIELD PAINT ONLY and can be purchased on-site at PBC Sports Park.

February 3rd PBC 3-Man Spring Series #1 (All Parks)
March 3rd PBC 3-Man Spring Series #2 (All Parks)
April 7th PBC 3-Man Spring Series #3 (All Parks)
May 12th PBC 3-Man Spring Series #4 (All Parks)
June 9th PBC 3-Man Spring Regional Championships at PBC Sports Park Charlotte**

August 25th PBC 3-Man Fall Series #1 (All Parks)
September 29th PBC 3-Man Fall Series #2 (All Parks)
October 20th PBC 3-Man Fall Series #3 (All Parks)
November 17th PBC 3-Man Fall Series #4 (All Parks)
December 8th PBC 3-Man Fall Regional Championships at PBC Sports Park Charlotte**
**The events are by invitation only. The top 5 teams from each division at each PBC Sports Park will be invited to the Championship. Total possible teams are 30 teams. Entry Fees are the same.

Entry Fees & Classifications

The PBC 3-Man Series uses the APPA ID system currently employed by the CFOA.
All players are required to purchase a 2007 CFOA ID Card that can be used to register for PBC 3-Man Events, CFOA 5-Man Events and CFOA X-Ball Events.
APPA ID Card’s are available for $30 per player and can be purchased through the CFOA’s web site at www.thecfoa.com/3man.
All teams must be registered by 11:59PM the Wednesday before the event.
Beginner Division (D-5)

Team Entry Fee per Event: $90.00 (HPA included)
Beginner class players, One (1) Rookie class player per team.
Limitations: Novice, Amateur and Pro Players are not allowed. Maximum of 5 players per team. There must be a minimum of 5 teams participating in the event to win prizes. (10yrs and up)
Rookie Division (D-4)

Team Entry Fee per Event: $120.00 (HPA included)
Rookie class players. One (1) Novice class player per team.
Limitations: Amateur and Pro Players are not allowed. Maximum of 5 players per team. (10yrs and up)

Tournament Schedule

On the day of the event, the following schedule applies:
7:00am - Fields Open for walking
7:30am - Check-in begins
8:00am - Captains Meeting
9:00am - Tournament Play begins
5:00pm - Awards Ceremony (may vary)
Rules & Game Format

3-Man Center-flag, CFOA rules will be used.
Team Composition - To keep seed points, teams must maintain at least two (2) original players from their original team roster.
3 minute game times, with 10 second pre-game warning
Each team will be guaranteed 6 preliminary games
Games will be scored as:
Eliminations = 3 points each X 3 players = maximum total of 9 points
Survivors = 2 points each X 3 players = maximum total of 6 points
First Flag Pull = 15 points
Flag Hang = 30 points
Maximum points per game = 60 points
Top 8 scores in each division in the prelims move on to the Semi-Finals
Semi-Final teams will be seeded by the order of their preliminary finish. Brackets will be: Seeds #1, #4, #5, and #8 in one grouping. Seeds #2, #3, #6, and #7 in the other grouping.
Each semi-final team will play round robin within its bracket. The top two (2) cumulative scores from each bracket will move onto the Finals.
Finals teams will play round robin. Final cumulative scores determining the finishing order.
Teams will receive Seed Points based on their finish at each event. Points will start at 100 points for the winning team and will descend in 2 point increments per place of finish. Seed point standings will be kept for both divisions at each park. Seed Points will be cumulative for all spring 3-man events.
The top 5 teams in each division from each park will be invited to the PBC Spring Regional Championships, held at PBC Sports Park Charlotte, in Rock Hill, SC.
The fall series will start in August and game formats, scoring, and seed points will be conducted in the same manner as the spring series.
Seed point standings will be kept for both divisions at each park. Seed Points will be cumulative for all fall 3-man events.
The top 5 teams in each division from each park will be invited to the PBC Regional Championships, held at PBC Sports Park Charlotte, in Rock Hill, SC.

Our team is looking to put 2 teams into the PBC 3-man series on top of our 5-man team in CFOA, will the APPA system be ready in time for the 1st PBC event on 3 Feb? Also, do you know what the paint prices will be, since it's FPO for those events?
