I have a black one too, it's good as your first gun just replace the stock battery and a new barrel wouldn't hurt either

it was my first gun too, and was good... it was easy to work, take apart, and clean, and it was a good gun that helped you learn the basics of paintball markers
and like jay said, a new battery and barrel are good ideas

I had an Icon-e, but they're practically the same guns. If you do get it, buy a 9 volt and barrel with it.

And thats fine for someone new.
Its a fine gun, I have used them, go for it and you can upgrade later. Also the fact that you just posted on a thread last posted on 2/15. The date is 3/2 he probally already got it. Let it die...

i dont know how many of you have it, But i do, i hate it. I had so many problems with it. I had to send it back to get fixed right out of the box. I had a bad chip. But yeah, if you get it, it is compatible with spyder stuff.
as for barrels i personally like the empire twister, its not to expensive. I also suggest a loader. Nothing to expensive. I also had some problems with some screws stripping. But that happens.
Make up your mind. After i got it all fixed, its been pretty good.
