gen 1 upgrade to a gen 3?

If I send my quest into fep would they upgrade me gen 1 to gen 3?

Im sure they would....probably not for free. I think if you trade your removable chip board in and $35 they will get a WAS board. And if you dont have the new grips....I believe you missed out on the deadline to trade in your old ones. Call and ask them is the only thing I can tell you.

k. Well, I couldnt really get new grips before cuz im getting a quest right now (used) from a guy on pbnation.

call them up and ask. it cant hurt. if anything it would only cost you a minimal amount of money. and im sure they would tell you what it would cost up front if you asked.

When I had a Gen 1, They said the costs were primarily for drilling for the guage....or just swaping out the part, retapping the frame, swapping the bolt, and yes the WAS.

My suggestion- Ask for the guage, and bolt. Use the money you save to buy a hater or nox chip. and keep the bad ass angel grips.

i broke my noid wire in my gen two and when i sent it in to get it fixed they gave me a newer bolt (i think i had a gen 1 bolt or just a really beat up one) new grips and i just bought a pred chip since WAS sucks. so i guess they should hook you up.

I have a pair of them. And a pair of original LCD angel grips. The stock angel grips were a lot better then the dye ones.

But the newer quest grips > them
