Ok so I received my Quest in the mail yesterday and couldnt be happier by the looks. Anyway, I couldnt shoot it due to having no air, so I went in today and got some air and brought it back home use on my Quest. It was weird at the beggining and shot about every 2 out of 10 trigger pulls. I couldnt get what was going on, so then it started bouncing and chopped a couple balls. I took it in, cleaned out the whole gun, lubed the bolt and took it back out to shoot. The gun is the fastest gun I have ever shot but there is one problem. If I hold down the trigger, its pretty much auto and will shoot 5-10 shots. Pretty much its bouncing a ton. The first problem was fixed and gun works and is beautiful, BUT ITS BOUNCING!
Please help.

Adjust your trigger setting, and give it a try.

Have the board settings been changed at all? If you read through the manual, it tells you how to restore the factory settings. That and adjusting the trigger is all I can think of right now.

Yeah, I havent touched the settings at all (cause everyone on here say not to).
Anyway, I might bring it in to my local store tomorrow and the owner is a Quest Tech, so he can help.

increase your debounce or at least make sure that it is on factory settings. Toy with the trigger a bit and make sure that the micoswitchis good as well

I would increase the tension a small bit and back out the trigger to a slightly more conservative length. I have my DB at 5 and can't get the gun to bounce if I want it to. I could lower my DB. Give that a try.

readjust your trigger. that is most likely the problem. because of your 2 out of 10 pulls being shots. after that, get out your manual and make sure all your settings really are stock. they could be messed up. especially if it just shoots when you hold the trigger. the gun is SUPER easy to walk and i think alot of people think its bouncing because of it. mine would run like hell until i stopped pulling the trigger, then stop immediately. you DO need to have a reasonable trigger pull tho. its so easy to walk you dont need it ultra short. and actually its easier to walk when its longer. however, it IS possible you have a bad switch since your getting so many shots after you stop shooting.

*edit* open up your grips and look at where the trigger screw is hitting the switch. there is room in the frame for the trigger to slide side to side(even tho it usually doesnt). make sure the screw is hitting the center of the switch tang and not just catching the edge. it may be catching the edge and hooking it on a thread or two causing your problem. i just thought of this because of another thread and how mine was... the trigger was off center in the frame(it still shot semi fine, but was off center). just move the trigger along its pivot untill it lines up properly with the switch tang.
