I noticed X-Factor is a relatively young team. I was wondering how long it took you guys to get to the level you're at today. Some people pick up paintball extremely fast. I myself have been told I picked it up pretty quick, but obviously I have a lot of work to do to come anywhere near you guys. How long did it take you (X Factor) to become a pro quality player in terms of months?

Probably a couple years, you really need to be dedicated to it if your gonna make it to that level.

Well, I know that in the beginning of the season, A-shock had a kid playing for them that had only 2 years of experience

Most of them have been playing tournament ball (though not at the national level necessarily) for at least 5 years.

History of X-Factor

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought some of yall would like to hear it so here is is.....

The team is based out of San Antonio Texas. Myself, my brother Ryan, and Derick used to play for a rookie team called Crisis Management. Todd and Mykel used to play for Gravity. David and Grayson played for the Arch Angels, Alex and his son Sean played for Knights, Dusty and Devin played for Guilty, Dixon and Archie used to play for Fuel along with Addicted. and so on and so forth. So basically everyone played local texas events from the time they were 15 or so.
Most of the guys wanted to play world cup 2003, so we did in 10 man rookie under Crisis Management. At that time about 2/3 of the guys played the event. We lost every single game and came in 48th place. haha pretty horrible.
The next event was La 4004. We played it under Crisis and played Division Three X-ball. We won. We played the rest of the events in divison three and won the Series under the name X-Factor.
The team then decided to play divison 1 x-ball. Players were lost and picked up. The team won the Series again that year in Divison One.
At the start of this season we played Divison 1 X-ball and Semi Pro NPPL. We won Texas Open. After Texas we started to slack off and failed to win an event for the rest of the season. Alex was offered an NXL spot and decided the time had come.
and hopefully there will be a lot more wins comming in the near future
