I'm having a tough time deciding

NOX- $70
Predator- $50
Spitfire $90

I have the chip board. I might be going with Pred cuz of the price.

sweeeeeeeeeeeet! lots of modes and junk. if i had the money itd be on its way. wonder who else will have a board out by the time i can afford one? and anyone that gets this needs to let us know how it performs.

virtue is too expencive imo. this should be just as good but i really want malichous(sp) intent code in my quest but i dont have a chip board :/ i hope they have a full board out by cup or im going with lucky.

I'm the kind of guy who wants it right now but urges himself to wait for other people to try out and compare them hehe. Must...not...impulse...buy...

Though this board looks awesome =) Finally we're seeing some boards!

I'll probably get one once a couple reviews are written. I don't want to spend $100 on something I won't be happy with, although WAS has been pissing me off lately(mostly the eye logic) so I might just buy it now anyways.

You can still get the Lucky board, it's not a chip it's a full board.

I have a chip board, so if this isn't back up for sale within a week, I'm going to get NOX.

was boards are the current generation stock board. the chip board was the original board before they switched to was.

Does anyone know what the issue was with the eyes? I saw some post in the Lucky forum about checking the Quest eyes across markers.

said something about fep having switched eyes somewhere along the way... but its the first ive heard of it. im not that good with that sort of particular technical stuff.

Ya, I'm so mad now. I sent money to a guy sponsored by Lucky to get me a discounted one, and now they took it off, so he will probably send me the money back, what a pain.

They are selling them at cup. I picked one up yesterday, seems good so far, I'll get to check it out this coming weekend at practice.

No eye issues that I can tell, everything plugs right in just fine...

How come you think I should just get the Hater chip? Is it better than the Lucky board?

idk why replace your whole board when you could just get the chip? if you do end up getting the lucky board i really want your stock board.

is there a certain way u can tell if it will work in your dust quest? b/c they said it will work with some dust quests.... could u tell by the serial number or something idk

I think you would probably have to contact FEP to know exactly. I'll be selling my chip board, so if it doesn't work you could buy my chip board and put a chip in it like NOX, Hater, or Predator.

Will not function in most dust Quests. Will function in most polished Quests with the older style eye. Please call FEP for clarification.

Apparently FEP used different eys in the newer Quests so the Lucky board will only work with the older style.

It's not just polished/dust, but that's a good way to look at it. I talked with cole this weekend. Take a look at your eyes. If they have a metal ring around it, that's the one the lucky board was tested with and works (saw it work!). The eyes that don't have any metal at the end are the newer eyes and seem to only sometimes work with the board. But it's all being fixed and checked so no worries!

It supposedly has something to do with how that metal might interact with the frame? Even though it shouldn't there were slight differences anyway between the two types of eyes. I'm pretty sure that's what he told me, I learned so much that day lol.

The board seems great, I just wish you didn't have to open the grips to program it. I'm so split; I REALLY like Tadao's stuff, but I also really want a new board. The Lucky board looks pretty nice, and patience is not one of my virtues.

the tadao programming is nice, i have a chip for my DM4, the trigger programming is really cool, but lucky is cheap compared to what tadao and virtue will charge.

wait for the virtue..... have one in my ego and honestly ive used a lucky board and a tadao just cant go wrong with a virtue now the maker of a board with LCD i will adore

I've never used virtue, nor do I know anyone that does, so I don't really have anything to say about that (I've heard mostly good things though). I don't really much care for the lcd boards. It's a nice feature, but I'm just fine without it. I'll have to admit, I like Lucky's business philosophy, "Play more, with better gear, for less money."

wait a minute they say...."we have hit 32 bps" but i thought the noid couldnt fully cycle more than like 24

i dunno if this was alrdy discussed but yeah, whats goin on with that

*oh and virtue stole 100 dollars from me, they are shady in my past expierences with them....i herd they got a bit better and plus my team is working out a sponsor with them....so i might be waiting out for virtue as well
