Help, gun issue bolt sticking forward.

I just got my second Quest man I love these guns. Have a big problem, after shooting for a while all of a sudden when I shoot the bolt stays forward and won't retract, I can push it back with my finger and then I can shoot 1 more time and same problem. I changed all the O-rings on the bolt and stem but still same problem. I also swapped bolts with my other quest and same issue. My other quest runs fine with both bolts and stems, so it doesn't look like a bolt issue. I changed batteries and no improvement. My settings are lpr set at 90psi, dwell at 10. The only thing I can think of is an LPR, HPR or solenoid issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are experiencing classic bolt stick. I am going to guess this is a newer Quest, so it's going to take a break in period.

For the first 4-5 cases of paint through my Quest, I had my LPR around 100psi, dwell at 14ms, and I had to lube it every 1000 shots. After that I was able to turn my LPR down to around 85psi, dwell to 10ms, and lube my bolt once a weekend.

Your bolt, not the bolt pin, is what is causing the stick. Keep it well lubed and up the LPR and you'll be ok until it's broken in. :tup:

It doesn't seem to be bolt stick since it works fine in my other quest.

I may be wrong and thanks for the suggestion. I'll up my dwell and LPR and give it a whirl

what lube? what temperature? how often are you lubing?

Again like I said the bolt works fine in one quest but goes crazy in the other. Even when I swap the bolt from the working quest into the other I again get the bolt sticking out and air coming out the front. So I have tried 3 different bolts (I also have a golmember) and 2 cleeves and no luck.
