I will be arriving at Ft. Campbell on the 24th or so of Jan.. Don't know what military obligations I'm going to have when I first arrive yet (I might have to go to a school for a few weeks) but I'll be ready to get back on the field as soon as possible.

I haven't bothered to look through any of the links you guys have posted (sorry) but how far is the closest speed ball field to Ft. Campbell? Is tournament paintball big in the area? Are there well maintained/run fields around or am I going to have to drive 2 hours? Are there any D3 teams holding tryouts after January 8th?

red river is the closest, but yellow jacket is about 70 min away and is an awesome speedball field, nashville paintball inc. is very good also. both are great for x ball and they are where the best players in mid tn play. u can come out and play with us(tn rejects) any time u want. most of the team is from clarksville, but i live in murfreesboro and i will be moving back to clarksville when the season starts back up. we have a 3 man at yellow jacket this sunday. we play open/d3 so just hit me up i am the captain if u wanna come play. tourny pb is alright around here. mspa is the main tourney scene around here. we will play all mspa's and some cfoa's and maybe some psps. just hit me up.

I was just looking at the tennessee players forum (linked from action paintball website) and reading a bit of the posts there. Sounds like I might be visiting the field (yjp) for sure. I'm from NC.. but I'm curious about the weather over your way. Will the fields be open to play in January? If not, are there any local indoor fields?

I saw what paint action paintball sells at the store, does the field carry the same stock?

field carries same stock mostly draxxus, pmi paint, and evil. there is an indoor in louiville and chattanooga, but that is about 2 and a half to 3 hours away. when are u coming in??? we are playing chatt. some this december and jan. usually the fields open up in feb. or whenever it gets over 40 degrees. we will be buying pallats of gap and pmi premium so hit me up for paint for cheap when the season comes around. we will be having try outs whenever it warms up. season usually starts march.

who is the try out for??

I cut this from red river forums

"Sinister Sainthood
Tryouts

Sinister Sainthood competition paintball team will be holding tryouts for our 2007 roster. We currently want to find players for 2 more squads. This will be a squad to fill out our X-Ball roster, and to fill out our Rookie squad.

Sinister Sainthood has been around for 6 years and was just recently featured in the November issue of Paintball 2Xtremes magazine team profile section.

We have sponsors that help with some of the cost, but the majority of it comes out of our own pocket.

The following requirements to be on Sinister Sainthood are as follow:
-Need a marker with PSP ramping.
-Be able to attend 2 practices a month.
-Be able to attend 1 tournament a month.
-Be able to ref at Red River 2 times a month.
-Be able to adhere to equipment requirements for the season.
-Be able to travel throughout the Southern United States.

If you feel you can meet these requirements, then you have a chance to be a member of one of the most widely known teams in the southeast, and play at the competition level!

Our tryouts will be held on the following dates:
-November 25th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; at Red River Paintball in Clarksville, TN.
-December 16th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; at Red River Paintball in Clarksville, TN.
-January 13, 2007, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; at Red River Paintball in Clarksville, TN.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on here or at pudforlife@hotmail.com .

Hope to see you all there,

Chris Geiger, Captain
Sinister Sainthood"
